When I wrote in to him, I clearly explained that we wanted to see him in person, instead he booked us for zoom consultation. Seems he doesn't care about privacy issue or not a care about talking about a persons intimate issues over zoom. It took me more than a year to convince him to see someone for help, just when he agreed, this therapist had to screw it up. I have to start all over again. Perhaps it is a sign that he's not a peoples person. One star for ruining all my effort.

So much…read morestress and anxiety that I really needed to talk to someone and hopefully put an end to it, or at least make it manageable. I set an appointment for 11am, showed up at 10:45am. And waited, and waited, and waited. By 11:30am I was starting to get a little frustrated. The walls and door were paper thin so I could hear the entire conversation she was having with her patient before me. At no time did she say "well it's time for my next appointment". Or come out to say "I'm sorry I'll be right with you". I just sat there like an idiot wasting my lunch break. At 11:40am I said to myself "forget it!" On her website it read "please show up on time, don't cancel or you'll be charged". So I expected the same treatment in return. By this point I was really frustrated, the exact opposite of how I thought I was supposed to feel after going to a counsellor! So I left my business card and went back to work, more stressed out than before my lunch break. At around 12:15pm I receive an email from her. No apology, no explanation, just "I must have JUST missed you! Your business card is still warm." Huh? I didn't want to work with someone that would give so little consideration to her new patients. Honestly though, this turned out to be the best thing for me! I went back to work and discovered that my employer pays for counselling. So I started to see Martin Pinot around lower Lonsdale. 6 sessions that absolutely changed my life! And he was so considerate of starting and finishing on time, such a kind man! So I guess I should be thanking Heather!

No Rapport 2.) Accent made it tough to understand everything 3.) After being told (before my first session) that the doctor was available at 7pm on weekdays. He said its "summer" and he'd rather work earlier in the day. I work Monday to Friday and cannot make an earlier time work. Further I don't want to spend nearly $200/hr on someone who would rather work a different time. After calling with my frustration and requesting to see another doctor or be refunded they refused. Don't pay $200 an hour for something or someone you are not totally sure about because there is no chance that is coming back. Spoke with the managing director she was't helpful in any way.

He wanted any answer in either black or white, without saying so. When, at some question, I tried to say why in my mind it wasn't either yes or no, he became extremely rude, he practically verbally attacked me and he hung up. And no, I've been always extremely polite, listening, doing my best to pass the info I knew about.
