Super dope spot! I would stay here again. Literally the most spot in Houston where it's over looking the city! 10/10 recommend

You can even arrange a late check out when available. We had a 2 year old with us and there was plenty for a kid to do-pool, splash park, playground, mini golf, a bike path nearby and you could rent a bike buggy for a child. A heavily wood site with plenty of trees to run around. We were tent camping with a huge 10 person tent. Sites T1 through T3 are better for a smaller tent. They're not smaller as far as size but it's the placement of the trees that's not great for a big tent, but still worth it for the shade of the tallest pines I've ever seen. T4-14 are better for a large tent. We were able to get WIFI with internet at the tent sites. This place is mostly permanent campers which keeps out a lot of the riff raff. My first impression of the bath house was it's the best smelling bath house I've ever entered lol. Cleaned several times a day. Showers are on timers, but it's not the first time I've ever seen that at a campground, water smelled fine. The only negative is that the bath house is a little far from the tent sites. Most RVs and campers have either sewer hook up or holding tank, so it would be nice if it were closer to tents. It would be great if they could just install a small toilet shed near tents. But it's not a deal breaker. We returned a couple times and will be sure to return again, we thought it was great! And the restaurant at the camp store has great hot food for sale, awesome hash browns lol

Checked the beds and sure enough found multiple ON TOP of the matress cover. We brought one of the bugs in a plastic bag to the front desk who called their manager who only refunded us the cost of the stay but refused to pay us for the loss of items like our tempur pedic pillows, bed sheets, expensive cooler bags, and our Samsonite large luggage. Despite the fact that we found a bed bug trap under the bed. They clearly knew the bed bugs were an issue and rented it anyways! DONT STAY HERE!! We were lucky enough to find a last minute place to stay at a bed bug free hotel for our last night. Paid for out of our pocket. They said management would contact us and two days later I'm still waiting. This place is HORRIBLE!

But the place was nice. The rooms itself were spacious and looked recently renovated. I liked that they are dog friendly and we had the dog package which had dog treats and dog bowl. They provided beach towels and umbrellas which was nice. They didnt have much selection of the dogfish beer which I thought would have been nice. Also coffee is available downstairs only in the mornings with no coffee maker in the room. So that was a drawback for me. But overall the town itself is nice with very friendly and welcoming people. I highly recommend this place. Also their beer soap is a too good. Must try!!

The room is spacious and thoughtfully curated with Dogfish items. Some are for use, others are to keep or purchase. We received a complimentary glass growler and beer soap. The room also has a fridge, TV, noise machine, and a small couch. If we stayed here longer than a night, the Inn gives guests free access to coolers, beach chairs, bikes, and much more. Awesome spot. Highly recommend!

The cabin that sleeps 4-6 people was spotlessly clean and smelled great. The bathhouse has some issues with folks not cleaning up after themselves in minor ways but the smell of Lysol indicates regular cleaning. My kids loved the pool. Less than 10 minutes from Rehoboth and Lewes Beach. I am reluctant to rave too much because we are staying here next year! Yes there are rebel flags and memorabilia but LGBT folks and all ethnicities are here receiving equal service as paying guests.

RACIAL DISCRIMINATION, INTIMIDATION, FRIGHTENING KIDS & UNCLEAN CAMPGROUND…read more One of the worst campground experiences our family has ever had. I am writing this review to warn other families before they spend their money here. We experienced what felt very clearly like racially discriminatory treatment. Our children were riding scooters when they were stopped and told they were not allowed to ride. Our 14-year-old was specifically stopped, yet we could clearly see much younger white children riding around the campground. If scooters were prohibited, the rule should have been enforced equally. What was even more upsetting was how our children were spoken to. They came running back to us scared and intimidated. As parents, watching your children come back frightened because of how an adult treated them is completely unacceptable. We also had a simple check-in misunderstanding. We went to our campsite before going to the office because we genuinely did not know that every guest had to check in first. Instead of simply explaining the rule, we were treated as though we had deliberately done something wrong. From there, the treatment became increasingly hostile, and we felt like the staff was looking for reasons to push our family out. The difference between how our family was treated and what we witnessed with white campers was impossible for us to ignore. Based on our firsthand experience, we felt targeted because of our race. The campground itself was also unclean and poorly maintained, which made the experience even worse. We were additionally forced to pay cash and were not given a receipt, which was extremely concerning and unprofessional. We paid to camp and expected basic courtesy, consistent rules, and a welcoming environment for our children. Instead, our family left feeling targeted, intimidated, and unwelcome. Think very carefully before booking this campground. We would not recommend it to families or anyone who expects to be treated fairly and equally.

This was our first experience staying at a bed and breakfast, and it completely exceeded our expectations. One of the biggest highlights was how pet-friendly the property is. As pet parents, it can be difficult to find places where our fur baby is truly welcomed, and Lazy L made us feel right at home. It was so nice to be able to travel and enjoy the experience together as a family. The location is perfect, just about 10 minutes from town. The town itself is absolutely charming, with plenty of great restaurants, shops, and a welcoming atmosphere. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly the town was as well. The property has a huge backyard area where dogs can run and play. Looking back, I wish we had spent even more time out there with our pup. There are bugs, ticks, and fleas in the natural outdoor areas, so I recommend bringing bug spray and tick/flea protection for both yourself and your pets. If you forget, don't worry! The property is equipped with supplies for guests. We also enjoyed the pool and had a great time kayaking during our stay. Another highlight was taking our dog to Lewes Beach, which allows dogs after 6:30 PM. It worked out perfectly since the sun didn't set until around 8 PM. We stayed until about 9 PM, enjoying the beautiful sunset and the cooler evening temperatures, which made it much more comfortable for our fur baby. The breakfasts were delicious and something we looked forward to each morning. Most importantly, the hosts were amazing. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making sure guests have a wonderful experience. We had such an incredible stay that we're already planning our next trip. In fact, I think this may become our annual summer getaway. We highly recommend Lazy L to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and pet-friendly escape.

If you lucky enough to stay out of his way the place can be nice and the office staff in particular are quite friendly and helpful. If however you have an issue come up and Tod gets involved you'd in for a bad day. we will improve restriction on what HE will and will not allow you to do. Going as far as to chain my golf cart to a tree because he had a complaint of bad driving (no accidents, drinking etc nor anything he saw first hand just something he "heard"). Playground is nice and cute as is the activity center but I feel it's under utilized and wish they did more activities there. Lake Laurie is nice and there's even a cute little golf cart trail around it. Tod will however come after you is he discovers you drove down the wrong path but it's otherwise a nice little path. I with the beach were better maintained though. Despite being very strict in some areas they don't do anything about smokers on the beach which is pretty annoying especially as my kids are digging up trash and cigarette butts etc. It would be nice if the sand was raked clean and ideally have more sand brought in since dirt is starting to get mixed in with the existing sand down closer to the water. If they could get rid of Tod and get some better more acomidating management in here and exercise a little more care this could become really nice unfortunately it seams they like Tod and will let him continue to ruin the place for now. You're better off finding a nicer campground in the area there are plenty.

Although we left a day early on Friday August 9th 2024, because of the hurricane remnants that may cause a rainstorm. Anyways, the bathrooms by the pool were clean. The pool was also very nice as we went to it twice this vacation. Although it was a little green, not completely, but more like light aqua green. Maybe they need chemical or something?Very nice though. This trip, we also went to the lake, and it is very much improved. There are lounge chairs, sand was clean, and it seemed alot better than the prior times that i have been here. They also have activities on the weekend including friday- like a magic show, a food truck, and art activities. Glad to see this campground improve. We stay here because it is an easy 5-10 minute ride to wildwood, and the surrounding cape may area, and we fit as we have a big long 5th wheel. Wifi was easy to connect to, However had trouble connecting to the roku tv, and sometimes the wifi would go in and out, thus making the tv freeze, and the channels freeze- (both via cable channels and the roku channels) Although, was able to find the channels after the connection was lost. Anyways, overall enjoyed our stay here.
