For years I have used Lord Eye Center located at the corner of 4875 Altama and the Spur. They are courteous, professional and they helped me save over $50 dollars by using benefits on my Humana card. I noticed they have a wide selection of glasses for men and women of all ages. There are glasses for casual and business wear. The section that got my attention was all of the fun frames for young children up to college age. If you are seeking great looking glasses for a very moderate price range the techs at Lord Eye Center should be your next stop. As a senior Citizen I always am on the lookout for excellent service, quality and affordable prices. My Humana card was accepted and they did all the work and I savers $50! I had my optometrist fax my prescription to the local WalMart. The optician was very helpful but unfortunately they did not carry my prescription. She suggested we check with Millican Eye Center directly across the street. We walked in to Millican, I explained my situation and I handed the kind young lady my prescription. She said "Oh yes! We have these. I was overjoyed! She came out with the contacts and handed them to me. I was unbelievably grateful and asked how much we owed them. She said "Oh no charge. We had some samples in the back." I was blown away by the kindness shown by both these women. Thank you so much!!!

They claimed I needed a laser procedure to relieve eye pressure and sent me to Brunswick for it. On the day of the procedure, they put the wrong substance in my eye, preventing the treatment. I was sent home--over 30 miles away--without an apology or compensation and had to return another day. They acted like nothing happened. Every office visit I paid my co-pay, yet despite my last visit being in January, I received a letter in October threatening collections for a supposed 90-day overdue balance. How can I owe anything when I haven't been there in 10 months? The service is terrible, overrated, and far too expensive. The care is sometimes good sometimes deficient. Take the trouble I had with my laser procedure as example. I strongly recommend staying away!
