I have been to many gyms in my years and this is absolutely the best place. There is something to…read moreaccommodate every situation you may have need of, from equipment to aerobics to swimming to even Tai Chi classes. There are also towels and wet wipes in the equipment area to use. There are coaches that will help assess you and answer questions in the gym. The locker room has a whirlpool, steam room, showers and heated towels; blow dryers. There is something for every need you could think of here and the staff is super friendly. You can even purchase water and protein drinks, or healthy snacks in their mini cafeteria! I would give ten stars if that was an option.

You develop lean muscle tone and class goes by pretty fast. The app lets you see the schedule and book online. The owner Annie is super sweet and I've never meet a staff member that was nicer and more welcoming. They learn your name. They have great, efficient workouts. Love this studio. If your think about it or just need to throw something new in your workout routine, stop in and take a class.

Also just found out the heater for the pool is broken surprise surprise maybe if you didn't run the heater on full heat 24/7 it wouldn't have broke.

I just mainly lift and do cardio here. I usually travel to Owensboro for business but when I come this is the gym I go to. Perfect to get a good lift in and do a little cardio. The equipment is older but is still in good condition (you cant really destroy free weights). Also they have santizer and paper towels all over if you want to clean up before or after you use your equipment although the place seems pretty clean. Good amount of space to spread out and do your own exercises so you aren't on top of the other people in the gym. This place keeps me sane after a long work day and has the right equipment to keep me in shape. Big Tip: If you are staying at the Hampton or the Fairfield in, they give you free passes at the desk. Just ask!

I have always struggled to find a good place to work out when I am in Owensboro visiting family. A…read morefriend of mine knew that I enjoy hot yoga and suggested I try HOTWORX -- I am SO GLAD that I took his advice. For those that don't know, HOTWORX is a virtually instructed exercise completed inside of a sauna, using infrared heat absorption to accelerate detoxification. You're literally inside of your own personal sauna with a TV and virtual instructors completing your workout. There are several options to choose from, including: hot yoga, hot pilates, hot cycling, hot barre, etc. I chose the hot HIIT workout which lasted 30 minutes and it was one of the best workouts I have done in a long time -- the heat really helps increase your flexibility/range of motion. Just make sure to take it slow if you're not used to the heat (I'm talking 125 degrees) and that you drink a LOT of water before, during, and after the workout. From the minute I called to make a reservation, the staff was SO helpful and friendly. They gave me a quick tour of the facility and made sure I was comfortable using the bands and the equipment inside the sauna -- one of the best experiences from gym staff I have ever had. I will absolutely be coming back to HOTWORX every time I am in Owensboro.
