They also have a small water feature with spray jets for kids in the summertime. They have also added a small section with fitness & workout equipment as well. Park has a walking trail around the entire park, two basketball courts, bathroom, water fountains, & shelters you can rent out for parties or events. They also light the entire park with Christmas lights during the holiday season. Multiple small parking lots are located around the park to provide plenty of room for parking. This is a great park that me & my family visit often when the weather is nice & my kiddos love it & ask to go all the time!

Only drawback is the place is packed whenever they have something going on, & it will take forever to find a parking spot or even to drive through. But it is nice that they hold quite a few free events. They also have shelters that you can rent out for a pretty decent price for parties or whatever type of event you would like to hold.

There is one hole that I always skip because it literally requires you to throw across an enormous pond. Otherwise, the course is a nice mix of open holes and wooded holes. Definitely worth trying. ROMP is far too commercialized, camping is basic parking lot style for RV campers (we had a basketball court fully lit nearly all night behind us) unless you're VIP which honestly VIP didn't look all that great for the $$. If your someone who enjoys late night jams, camping in the woods, having an adult beverage and enjoying the wee hours of the night..... this is NOT that place. They have limited sites for RVs near the late night stage and camping area. We were forced to camp at the front of the park because staff did not allow you (first come first serve, we arrived when gates opened first day) to pick your camp spot in your designated ticket location, so we had a long walk to enjoy the late night shows. We are musicians who go to music festivals to enjoy great music and campsite jam sessions with various people. This "festival" greatly disappointed us.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn which was very clean and nice. We took our kids over to the water park and were greatly surprised. What a great bonus for your city. Very fun and very clean. We walked around downtown and had a great time. Was also impressed by the look of the High School. So many times it seems easier to just tear down an old school and build a new one way out of town. So kudos to you for upgrading the High School, it was beautiful. We had a great time and would recommend it to our friends.
