They stop instantly if you're in pain and you just raise your hand. If you are afraid of the dentist, go here and ask them to connect you with the staff which is best at treating people with dental anxiety. They will hook you up. I also was nervous that they would take me for a ride and start looking for extra stuff to do but they didn't. They didn't over treat me and they didn't under treat me.
