Judi LRF I have been going to Dr Michael Staub at the Bone and Joint Wellness Center for years. When I first saw Dr Staub several years ago I had (and I emphasize had) severe and continuous pain and muscle spasms racing down my right arm. Enough to scare the bajeebas out of me. I could not use my right arm to its full range of motion. Which therefore affected my job by drastically reducing my productivity. Not to mention the many, many sleepless nights, due to this pinched nerve. I seriously thought that I would have to live with this pain for the rest of my life. Or even worse... have to endure a surgical procedure to rectify the condition. I most definitely did NOT want that! But Dr. Staub was relentless and explained every treatment in detail with me so I would see positive results in time. Thanks to Dr. Staub and his Chiropractic procedures, I completely recovered. I am back with another medial issue and challenge for Dr Staub. This time I have a bulging disc resulting in severe sciatica pain. I again am on the road to recovery in just a few short visits with Dr Staub's chiropractic and acupuncture treatments. I can now get a good night's sleep again and I haven't missed any day's off work. Before I came to see him with the latest issue I was in tears with pain, but that is in the past. I am looking forward to a completely pain free life again. Dr. Staub really does care about his patients and their wellbeing. Dr. Staub is very educated and is teaching me all about nutrition to help me to lose weight and concure my diabetes and to stop the diabetes cycle in my family so that my daughters will not have to go through what has been an issue with my family for years. I just signed up to Yelp to provide this review (my very first!) just because other people need to become aware of this guy! I've had back problems since an accident over a decade ago and didn't want to undergo surgery, so have been under chiropractic care since then. I have been going to Dr. Staub for chiropractic-adjustments since I moved to Arizona almost 7 years ago, and was referred to him by a prior work-manager. During one of my adjustment-visits a few years ago, he also noticed the pupils in my eyes slightly-'flittering', took my blood pressure, and determined I should see another doctor for high-blood-pressure ... and even provided me with a referral to HIS OWN personal doctor. What other chiropractor does that?? Since visiting his referred-doctor, my blood-pressure has been back to normal. Two years ago, I sustained a back injury where I received compression-fractures to my lower lumbar area. Instead of going to my general practitioner, I went to Dr. Staub first. After his x-rays and examination, he determined my diagnosis, road-to-recovery schedule with him, provided me with home-stretching/exercising routines, and since mid-last year, I've returned to golfing and playing other sports ... and I am not a youngster! Suffice to say, he knows a lot about the human body and its challenges, not just the back-and-neck. With this first-time online-review, I just wanted everyone to know that I owe all of my current good health to Dr. Staub. I have had back problems most of my life and was unsure about going to a chiropractor until some friends told me how much it helped them. I started at another clinic but switched to Dr. Staub because he was much closer to my house. I have been doing great ever since. He has not only adjusted me, which has helped a great deal, but he has also given me good exercises to do to stay comfortable and discusses diet and supplements as well. There used to be days when I returned home for work and had to lay flat on my back on the floor because I hurt so much. I never feel that painful anymore. I was even able to stop taking my steroid inhaler after my asthma improved and rarely have symptoms anymore. My eight year old daughter's asthma kept worsening and my pediatrician did not have any answers. I took her to Dr. Straub and he recommended dietary changes and started chiropractic adjustments on her. He also does pressure massage of the head and neck on both of us. She has been doing very well and even cheers when I tell her that we have an appointment that day. She used to get colds often which would always lead to bronchitis and days of nebulizations. She hardly ever gets sick anymore. Dr. Straub talks directly to her explaining how things affect her body and how to be more healthy. And he listens to her and is interested in how she is doing with all her hobbies and interests. He is always nice and happy and enjoyable to talk to. Dr. Staub is helping me through a stubborn rib issue that has been plaguing me for months, and I am incredibly thankful for him. Prior to learning of Dr. Staub, I was convinced that rib pain was going to be a new normal for me. I injured my ribs back in October and was in the most physical pain I have ever experienced. In the weeks after I sought the help of various medical professionals, went to more than a dozen appointments, had multiple X-rays, MRI - the works. I was told I was fine and that pain management was my next step. I am active, healthy, and not prone to chronic pain, so medication was not a solution. In January an acquaintance of a friend referred me to Dr. Staub. I was very optimistic after just my first visit; Dr. Staub understood my symptoms, recognized my issue immediately, and put together a plan of attack. After only a handful of treatments, my pain is drastically reduced, and at times, gone completely. I have no doubt this will be a non-issue in the weeks to come - thanks to Dr. Staub. I should also mention that Pam in the front office is incredible, and I have never had a problem finding an appointment time that coordinates with my work schedule. I have the best chiropractor ever! My family and I have been going to Dr. Michael Staub for over 11 years. I am married with 5 children. All of us have had many adjustments over the years from Dr. Staub. Because Dr. Staub is such an educated physician I have taken my family to see him for a wide range of medical issues. I thoroughly trust his opinion. He has a fun and humorous manner that makes each visit a pleasure. Even when I go in with a pain and he has to make some adjustment or stretch that may not feel so good, I trust Dr. Staub and always leave his office with a smile. Oh yes, Dr. Staub always listens and hears what I am saying about my body and what is going on. He also has a way of explaining my medical condition and the treatment in a way I understand. I am seeing Dr. Staub now for a shoulder injury. I have now had maybe 8 visits and have gained back almost 100% of my mobility. Before I went see Dr. Staub my pain level was about an 8, all day. Now, I am down to zero pain because I can move my arm and the slightest bump or jar no longer causes me searing pain. We still have work to do but now I feel positive about my recovery rather than doubtful thanks to the treatments I've received from Dr. Staub. read more

I started seeing Dr Staub about 2 years ago, and he has been fabulous- very knowledgable, skilled and personable! I have had back pain periodically for about 15 years. When I started having regular adjustments, along with exercise, the pain became a moot issue. Dr Staub also had me buy orthodics to insert in my shoes. The orthotics were too wide to fit in my shoes, except tennis shoes, which I wore fairly regularly at first. Well, since I was feeling so good, I "suspended" my adjustments, and with warmer weather I started wearing sandals and flip flops again, instead of the heavier shoes that the orthodics fit in. As you might guess, after a few months the pain came back with a vengeance. When I returned to Dr Staub for help he was able to get me back on track within a week with adjustments and acupuncture. He also gently but firmly re-educated me on the importance of wearing the orthidics regularly, and getting adjusted regularly, not just when in pain. He is good about taking the time to listen, he is passionate about what he does, and I feel confident recommending him to anyone. read more

Dr. Staub, like NONE other has treated my WHOLE PERSON. I went to the office to be seen for pain related to an auto accident that occurred 20+ years ago. I expected to receive chiropractic care. I never expected him to treat my whole self. I am PAIN FREE, AND he noticed my skin condition and the underlying diet induced inflammation that had rendered it out of control. We work on REAL LIFE challenges together including weight control and over all well being. OMG TODAY he offered to "link up" with my fitness tracker to monitor progress and keep me motivated. HAVE YOU EVER??? The level of care is UNPARALLELED. And the staff is amazing! I really mean it, do they ever have a bad day? No, no they don't. I was a skeptic, but Dr. Staub has changed my opinion. He has solved a problem I have been dealing with for over a year involving pain and numbness in my right arm that no one else in the medical field could. He was able to immediately analyze the problem and use a myriad of skills including cold laser, acupuncture and massage to address it in a logical and holistic way. Within a week I began to show improvement with less pain, lower frequency of painful incidents and greatly improved range of motion. As I write I am still under treatment and I am confident of a cure. I have learned a lot about health and taking care of myself from him and look forward to a long relationship with a doctor who "gets it." Also, his prices are very reasonable and he has worked with me to keep costs to a minimum while not curbing his level of care. I don't think it gets better than this.! read more

My daughter fell off the swings and complained of pain near her wrist. I didn't think it was too serious, but wasn't sure, so I wanted to get her arm x-rayed just in case. Instead of heading to urgent care, I thought it would be a much better experience for her and more affordable experience for me if we could have Dr. Staub perform the x-ray in his office. He fit us in within the hour during his lunch break and sure enough he discovered two breaks in the area where she complained of pain. This led us in the right direction to be able to get her wrist casted and her on the mend. If you ever need a quick x-ray, remember you can also see Dr. Staub for that as well! Then the next day, Dr. Staub was so thoughtful and called to check up on my daughter and see how she was feeling. I was referred to Dr. Mike a few years ago and couldn't have come across a better chiropractor. My first visit I had pulled out my back and couldn't walk for two days. A client of mine told me to go see Dr. Mike and first visit he spent an hour plus with me doing a full assessment on my back and spine. From there he came up with a health plan and I literally walked out after first appointment in significantly less pain and could walk and return back to work. Times have popped up where I have pulled my back again either working out or careless lifting and each time I see him he knows exactly how to help quickly and intelligently. I started seeing Dr. Staub upon the recommendation of my daughter-in-law about 6 months ago. I had a frozen shoulder and various other muscular skeletal issues. I see him about once per week and his adjustments take about 30 minutes, not the usual 5 minutes most chiropractdors allow per patient. he addresses all of my issues with my back, shoulder, IT band, performis muscle. He also gives advice on how to exercise safely. I would recommend him to anybody with any types of issues, and the massage therapists at his office are also very skilled and have contributed to my healing journey. read more

Five stars for Dr. Staub. I was having slight, continuous discomfort and felt that I really needed to be adjusted. Luckily for me, I had a friend who had started going to Dr. Staub and referred me. In Dec. 2015 I started coming to The Bone and Joint with Dr. Staub, I have pain in my shoulders that would keep me up at night. It took three visits for my pain to go away, Dr. Staub took time to explain everything to me. I am very impressed with the specialty of his care. I can't say enough good things about this place. Excellent care! Chiropractors typically get a bad rap but Dr. Staub is well above the typical chiro with his knowledge and the care he provides his patients. The entire office is amazing and I HIGHLY recommend making an appointment and seeing this for yourself. Dr. Mike is personable and knowledgeable. After almost two years of back/shoulder pain, Dr. Mike was able to relieve that pain in a short period of time.
