The largest terminal station in the Netherlands, with easy connections to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Schipol.
The station opened in the 1970s yet feels fresh and modern, with the recent renovation that was completed in 2017.
Unlike most train stations in the Netherlands, you are able to get to most of the shops without a ticket or OV-chipkaart to pass through, the layout in terms of separating the shops and platforms is much more thought out here.
There is a Starbucks inside the station with a small seating area, as well as a SPAR just outside the station, perfect for picking up essentials ahead of your trip.
Easy to get around the station, and then exit towards the exciting The Hague Center.
I would have expected more seats outside of the businesses inside the station, to sit while waiting for the train.
