We are here about a week ago as a group of five before heading to a movie…read more The waitress serving us was quite slow and we had to ask for things numerous times (if we got it) such as mustard, another drink, some napkins. The food tasted good, although we had a hair in the spinach dip and a baked potato had a small rock in it. We had a bday at the table, but it wasn't until after we asked for the cheque that the waitress brought over the cookie. By that point, we didn't want the cookie, we wanted to get out of there to get to the movie on time. Very disappointed with this visit.

From frying the bacon to preparing the poutine sauce to the apple pie I had for dessert, everything is made fresh in the kitchen and you can taste it. Yes it's quality. Not just the food, but the nice comfortable dining room, friendly staff, seat cushions, music - all of it. Comfort food, the menu makes it clear. Burgers, sandwiches, pasta, all the North American typicals. Sides include coleslaw, onion rings - you get the picture. But Lulu's does it really well. So if you're driving in from the south, you not have planned to stop before getting downtown, but you wouldn't be wrong to feed yourself any meal of the day here.
