I have nothing good to say about this buffet. The food was bland, or tastes completely wrong…read more Crispy good was soggy or so dried out it wasn't edible. We were there at about 2 in the afternoon. If you looking for a good buffet this is not the one for you. Do not waste your money here. The staff seemed disappointed they had to seat us and bring our drinks.

This restaurant is new and it is a splash a coat of paint and hope no one has ever seen the inside…read moreof this restaurant type of business, I went there on Fathers Day at first glance this place looked clean and well taken care of, we waited for 5 minutes for someone to show up at the door to seat us we weren't sure if we wait or seat ourselves as there is no sign anywhere and the cashier was on the phone yelling into it because he couldn't hear above the crowd waiting to pay their bill. We were seated at a table that was used recently because the plum sauce that stuck to my forearm told me so, drinks were ok as far as $3.50 pop go, now the good part and that is far from what the food was, except for the chicken wings, the menu boasted prime rib and coconut shrimp and all the fixins, the wonton soup was flavourless I used plum sauce and soya sauce to get the dishwater smell to stop, the sushi and spring rolls could be used for paperweights and a sponge puck, I did enjoy the wasabi this was the only thing strong enough to kill the taste of the chewy fresh shrimp, no prime rib still and the coconut shrimp tray remained empty, I tried the perogies it's pretty hard to screw these up.........wrong hard outside and dry filler, chicken balls had a paste inside of the batter which I figure they were undercooked, I looked around and people where chewing on this stuff.........hey the prime rib tray is full COOL I'm gonna get some, they had put a pork roast and some mushroom soup gravy as a substitute are you kidding me well I'm here to eat.......k this is disgusting, my last attempt to salvage this meal is ice cream......mmmmmmm Jello too , nope there was a 1/4 inch film on the jello well that's my adventure at this place hope you take some good advice and eat at 7-11. The one star review is because yelp doesn't have a flush the toilet with this crap rating.

Overall Failure - An experience of two hairs discovered. Having recently moved to the lake during…read morethe summer, we decided to pay a visit and find out what this restaurant was about. Looking back, it was a bad mistake and terrible decision, especially with the other great eateries around the lake. We found the Asian Station to be a chaotic mixture of American treats (hamburgers & fries & ice cream) and westernized Chinese food with combo style specials (ie. fried rice, lemon chicken, sweetandsour pork, average Asian fare). Although the exterior of the building looks really nice, the inside of the restaurant is an eye sore and not very well kept. We went against our best senses and decided to give it a go, at my son's insistence for a hamburger at the Asian Station (?)(!) However, we ordered items off both the Asian and Anglo side of the menus. My best advice is to stick with the Chinese side of the menu if you choose to dine at the Asian Station. We found our burgers were simply unacceptable, our buns over saturated with sauce (ie. ketchup/mustard, relish) and not every well presented. The fries were cold and the burgers were under cooked and slimy. Although our Asian dishes (i.e. noodles, and fried rice) were somewhat better but not good enough. Portions were below average and quality of service was sub-standard. There are other places around the lake side which are much better, including value for taking a family out for dinner. Bottom line. My wife told me after leaving that she discovered two long blonde hairs in our son's food. Quite perplexing as we were sitting in an (quasi) Asian restaurant.. My wife, being the polite Canadian, did not want to raise a fuss.... Over the coming weeks, we have realized the other local establishments are busy with local customers, and the Asian Station gets the unsuspecting tourist walk ins. I vowed the minute I got back into civilization with internet access, I would write this to warn others considering a trip here for a meal.
