Her ice cream was pretty disgusting so she passed on that (we went to an ice cream parlour nearby instead). Ste-Agathe is a beautiful place and I have fond memories of the area (my mother grew up there). However, this is not a foodie destination - which is ok. This restaurant is representative of that (I.e., it is not a local outlier in either direction). In Montreal, this place would never survive though. It might not survive in Laval.

It's small, it only sits 20 people but I have to say the place is always very clean. The souvlaki is delicious with large pieces of white meat charbroiled chicken and a homemade tzatziki that is one of my favourites. Prices are very reasonable, the food is fresh and made in house, I guess that's why they have been in business for over 40 years.

My friend insisted we go eat their pizza after hearing it was run by a Southern French Family from Marseille and that they did specialty pizzas from that region, well my friend wasn't wrong.....it was amazing.
