My daughters car insurance was cancelled due to something on a credit report from NexisLexis who has poor consumer ratings (the majority of comments on their website give them a rating of 1 out of 5). They mine the internet for information and most the time it is correct. Checking her credit report through reputable sources (experience, transunion), there is not issues. No only that, but they failed to notify her via phone or email and sent a snail mail letter which she receive a month after her insurance was cancelled because she was away from home for spring break so she was driving for a month without insurance without knowing it. This put her at a huge risk.
Now we are scrambling to get insurance so she can drive to school as she live out of town and away from public transportation. This is a huge inconvenience, is costing us money as finding good insurance is now almost impossible, is taking a time away from her studies, and causing additional undo stress.
This is a perfect of example of big business taking advantage and not caring for the little people. If you have a lot of money and don't care what you pay, then you can get whatever you want. I've seen this all to often with businesses now days.
This is just poor business and customer service. read more
