I've returned to STAT CPR Solutions for my BLS recertification and PALS certification. Because of the great experience I had with them my first time (while getting ACLS, ECG) I came back to them. Their instructors and staff are wonderful! They are very approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. Barbara taught our PALS course and she was flexible in accommodating class start/end times to fit the group, she made the class interesting and fun for all. We had people drive from as far as Point Loma and Moreno Valley to take their class here. They have coffee & a fridge to store your food if you bring lunch/snacks. Dear Stat CPR Solutions, today at school in the lunch room I walked by a table with a student yelling "help my friend is choking!" I looked at the student, it was obvious her airway was obstructed. I got behind the student, I put my arms around her and got into position to administer the Heimlich maneuver. I didn't panic. I didn't freeze. I could hear Larry's voice in my head telling me exactly what to do. To remain calm, to get behind her, to make a fist just above her bellybutton, thumb side in, to take the other hand and push in inward and upward at the same time. I performed this two times and the student expelled the blockage. The redness in her face immediately began to subside. It was apparent at this point she was able to breathe on her own. I sat her down at the table, gave her a drink of water and a hug and escorted her to the health office. Words aren't enough to express my gratitude to this organization, to Larry for teaching me life saving skills! A million thank you's!!!!! read more

I have been a licensed Paramedic for nearly 17 years, and had let my ACLS expire over a couple of years; I truly needed a break from running back-to-back calls. I began searching around for renewing my ACLS, and the places I encountered, wanted over a 100.00 just for ACLS skills testing. I had heard about Marc through the grapevine, and became interested in his offerings. Marc was charging 60.00 for ACLS skills testing; I said to myself "sign me up". Marc texted me the day I signed up for, to confirm my appointment for Sunday; I was quit impressed by that. I texted him back and told him "I'm on my way, and I will be there shortly". He stated "sure, no worries, don't stress". I showed up, went into this room, with 3 other people, and we all performed our mega codes together. Marc made life simple for all 3 of us. He joked, he rambled on about key points, he had his cardiac drugs lined up on a table next to lethal rhythms printed on paper next to the drugs that we needed to administer. Marc made ACLS enjoyable, and rather fun for all of us. I really enjoyed his teaching skills, and asked each of us our backgrounds before beginning our skills testing. When it was time to go, he only charged us 50.00 for his time. I highly recommend Marc, and his expertise if you are considering renewing your CPR, ACLS, PALS, etc...He is a very genuine, and ensures you are confident in your skills before you leave his office. I will consider Marc for any future certifications I may have as a Paramedic. read more
