Thankfully, my niece was in town so we all decided to go together. With my daughter's membership, we both were able to accompany her for just $10pp. At first glance, this gym was very spacious and very well maintained. It had a huge, open area with treadmills, ellipticals and stair masters then other areas that included free weights, weight machines and bikes, among other equipment. I was very impressed by the swimming pool and the large hot tub as well. We started on the treadmills as a warm up then worked our way to the upper body machines. I noticed they had cleaning wipes conveniently located, to wipe down the machines when we were done which was a plus. As we were leaving, I noticed the Onelife Cinema and asked the lady at the front desk about how it works. She mentioned that they show a different movie every day (the movie is on repeat) but the room includes treadmills and workout equipment for you to workout and watch a movie at the same time. What a concept!!! I haven't decided if I am going to join yet but this gym is absolutely beautiful, spacious and very well ventilated. The staff is also great and I would highly recommend stopping in if you are interested in joining a gym.

After doing all three, I believe the it's the same temperature for all classes. Each class I've gone to were pretty full. I don't know if it's the way the room is structured in an L and not a square/rectangle or the windows being covered by curtains and I could see outside some... I was mentally distracted in that place. This may be a me thing. Instructors were really good. I did go to a FUNdamentals class on 6/26 (whoever was teaching that day) I absolutely enjoyed it. He gave excellent cues that really helped me. Any instructor that gives good cues to help visualize a pose is a win in my books. All classes were a good workout. You will come out sweaty and feeling glad you went. This is a contender in my books to sign up for membership.

I specifically came to break the monotony of my workouts at Onelife. I thought, what a perfect way to break the monotony than by doing something "fun" that is also a workout. Tada, enter "Bungee Fitness"! H O P E / F I T / V A I am typically an introvert with extroverted moments, so group fitness has never been my thing. However I must say this husband and wife duo (Quinton & Sary) know how to make you feel welcome and included. Atmosphere - This place is clean! Crap isn't all over the place, there isn't a ton of people, or intimidating "meat heads" (sorry). Multiple bathrooms with showers. The bungee fitness is separate from the personal training side. Sary leads Bungee Fitness and Q does personal training on the other side. The choice of music while working out is perfect for me! H O P E / F I T / V A Service - "With a smile"! Sary engages everyone in her class. She truly wants to make sure you are getting what "you" intend to get from the class/workout. She is truly accommodating to everyone's needs. She passes out water when she sees you don't have any. It's not uncommon to see Q pop in to get some footage of the class. H O P E / F I T / V A Workout - The beginners class is truly achievable for all shapes, sizes, ages. They are even staring to include children 13 and up. Each person gets to choose how much effort and energy they're putting into their individual workouts. You will do jumping jacks, squats, burpees, knee flys, planks and jogging. If you're like me, you're a sucker for technique, and going "full out" as much as possible. It is totally up to you. Sary has recently took it up a notch by adding the use of weights and resistance bands. This addition to the class with double burpees, lunges, and sharpening everyone's techniques is so up my alley. I love to feel the burn, love to sweat, this is my type of workout. H O P E / F I T / V A Understand that if and when you start bungee fitness, you have to start somewhere. If you are a hardcore gym junkie adjust your expectations for the level 1 class, just enjoy and have fun. If you're anything like me, stick around and you will get to the more intense stuff. I like this type of workout "fun", and want to keep it incorporated into my weekly workouts. Pricing - They are currently updating plans to accommodate number of classes per week/ month. Initially I got 10 classes for the month for $100, and couldn't get them all in. That's too many for me in one month. I have absolutely loved every experience I have had in the studio or practicing with one of their instructors at an event in the community. Most of my physical activity involves running and I am definitely not anywhere close to an advanced yogi. I enjoy it for the stretch and the gift of just being able to be somewhere totally in the moment without distractions. It really is a gift to myself that I don't give nearly enough. If I had time to add another activity onto my weekly schedule, I wouldn't hesitate to be a member. Thankfully, their drop-in process is easy and the ability to buy class packs makes it easy to come in whenever my schedule allows. I never feel like an "outsider" when I drop in, a vibe I have gotten from other studios. Peyton and Ann have been my favorite go-to instructors, but everyone has been wonderful in their own unique teaching style. I personally like a little humor in my yoga. They have so many varieties of classes for all levels of student. One day maybe I'll get adventurous and branch away from yin, restorative, foundations, and yoga for athletes classes. For now, that's where you will find me though- each class helps during a different point in my training cycle & year. This studio has a full bathroom with showers. They also already have everything you need to practice including straps, blocks, blankets, towels, and bolsters. They also have a handful of mats to borrow if you forgot one or are just giving yoga a try for the first time. When you enter the studio you first check in with the desk before putting your belongings in the cubbies directly across from the desk. The receptionists have always been friendly and helpful. There are three rooms, it is helpful to go ahead and ask which one your class will be in when you check in. They usually assume you already know- which maybe I should for some of the classes I've taken a few times. I still like to ask! This studio offers a huge variety of classes and class times. They have been perfect for a casual novice person like myself; but they also offer instructor training and advanced workshops. They have kids classes, barre classes, pilates, and probably a few others that I don't even know about! I've checked out a few other studios just to compare and this checks all the boxes and just feels like home every time I drop in for a class.
