I took in a homemade quilt to be cleaned earlier in the week. What a shame! We were told it would be ready by today. We were told there was a good chance it would be done early. We were told we would be texted when it was done. We never received a text. My mother called early this morning. We were told it would be ready by 4pm. She called at 345 and no one answered. Now online the hours show they close at 4 which was the pickup time they advised us of. I am so angry and frustrated. We were lied to about when it was to be done. Now we have to wonder until Monday morning... if its done... its been lost or ruined. I will never use their services again and will be following up with the BBB for further resolution. Had a last minute dry cleaning emergency and the location in Peoria said they couldn't get our suit pressed until Tues of the next week. The Normal location was super helpful and assured us if we dropped the suit before CLOSING that day it would be ready by 3pm the next day. Not only did they get it done for less than $10 (DEAL!!!) they had it pressed and ready for pick up by 1pm the next day. Awesome service! read more

Do a great job, but they know they have a monopoly in this town, so I feel their cleaning prices are extremely high. They know they have you hostage as the only dry cleaners in town, and they charge accordingly. read more

Super fast service. They scan your license plate when you pull into the parking lot and pull your clothes before you walk in the door. They also text you when the clothes are ready to pickup. Very awesome staff. Open earlier and closes later than any other dry cleaners in Blo-No. Even open on Sundays for pickup and drop offs. Best cleaner in town, and I have tried quite a few over the years. read more

So I might be biased, since this is the only cleaner I've been to in town, but man have they got me hooked with just one visit. Brought in a a two piece suit and shirt as well as a comforter. They got the suit done in a day, comforter in two, texting me when each piece was ready. At this point, I was impressed with the speediness, decent prices and customer service. Then they sent me a letter. It was a quick review of the business, with hours, letting me know they have a drive through option and the timing of items, in addition there was a gift certificate (coupon really) for $10 off the next visit and a voucher for a free tote. Well I'll be. What follow up, Starcrest. I will be back with any further dry cleaning needs. read more

This is the first and only dry cleaning I'll go to in Bloomington-Normal. Great customer service and my clothes are usually ready the next day. Prices are a little high, which is why I gave them a 4 instead of a 5. But the price is definitely worth it. I've gotten suits, dress clothes, delicate dresses done here and each time they do a wonderful job. If you're a new customer you get mailed a $10 gift certificate and a free Starcrest tote. Now I bring my clothes in with the tote every time. Also have a drive through option and text you when your clothes are ready. Great place, definitely recommend. read more

As a business owner in the clothing industry myself, I do not recommend you take your clothing to Starcrest Cleaners. They destroyed my $450 jacket with a heat sealed sticker that I did not ask to be put on in the first place. Had I known this would have happened, I would not have brought it here. They blamed me for destroying my own jacket by not asking them to remove the sticker. I was not told that there would be a heat sealed sticker and wasn't given instructions or warning on how to take it off. If this was the case why had they not taken it off before returning my item to me? Why would I bring my item home to have to take it back to get a sticker removed? They refused to take responsibility and was extremely rude and hostile about the situation. They didn't even give me any room to talk about the situation but rather kept telling me it was my responsibility and I should've took it back. I finally received a check for the service after weeks and weeks of requesting it. Funniest part was when they sarcastically asked if i even wanted my $8 back. My favorite up-kept and expensive jacket is now permanently damaged. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews to businesses, but the amount of irresponsibility and rudeness that I've experienced within the corporate office of this company is too much not to warn others. Great cleaners!! Definitely, recommend. They were quick and thorough, very happy with how my coat came out. Dropped it off around 6pm and it was ready at 11am the next day. There was a misunderstanding with the pricing but they adjusted without argument, very friendly and accommodating. Will be back soon! read more

Quick, friendly service. To clarify one review from 2015, Starcrest does now accept AmEx. All credit cards, actually, from what I remember seeing on their window. Love the drive-up option. They'll hang your clothes in your car through the back window so you never have to leave your vehicle. read more

Quick, reliable service. At $2.75 a shirt, they are the most reasonable for the job that is done. When i pulled in the parking lot they must have looked up my license plate because they had me pulled up in the computer and my shirts up front. Talk about a cleaners you can depend on to do an outstanding job on your clothes, they are attentive to your requests and have done an outstanding job thus far. On top of all that their customer service is by far the best around. They have a license plate ID system that allows them to have your clothes ready as you walk in the door to get them. They have drive up service (covered for bad weather) which is very convenient for nasty weather or if your in a hurry. Can't say enough about this wonder full cleaners, stop by and give them a try I do not think you will be disappointed but instead you will become a loyal customer like me. read more

I don't get all the great reviews, on numerous occasions I have had to return pants that were not actually clean and I don't even use a dry cleaner that often. That, and despite a note on my account, they almost always come back with a double set of creases. Fast service and a friendly staff don't make up for the fact that my items aren't clean. read more
