There was only one person ahead ordering their drinks. I pulled up next and ordered my very berry hibiscus refresher with light ice and 6 pumps of classix syrup. Within a short amount of time, I got to the window and used my app to pay. I tried my drink before leaving, and it tasted delicious. They made the drink perfectly. It had the perfect amount of ice and classic syrup. It tasted fresh and cold. The whole process took less than 10 minutes which is impressive. The best Starbucks location around. Not only do they always nail my pain in the butt order without blinking or a million questions. The manager (i think, super nice lady, red hair) also is always friendly and helpful and makes sure to kindly ask anyone not wearing their masks or wearing them properly to adjust and makes sure they don't go above capacity. She's always kind but firm with enforcing COVID rules with anyone that comes in. Super appreciated! read more

Never again! I patronize Starbucks daily, but today (4/29/21 @ ~2pm) was my first and last time patronizing the location on Mound Rd. When I pulled into the drive-thru, I sat in line for a total of 20 minutes. I ordered a venti coffee. There were 5 cars in line, including myself. When I finally reached the window, the attendant (short, thick lady with braids) was taking what appeared to be a relatively large order (delay understandable). Then 4 employees came into her area. They started talking, shooting the breeze and laughing. When the attendant was done taking her order, she then joined the congregation laughing/talking with them as I sat at the window an entire 4 minutes waiting to be handed my coffee that was already sitting at the window the entire time while getting cold. It's very unfair that patrons have to be subjected to this behavior because someone may not appreciate their job, or feel it's a low paying job. You not liking your job is no excuse!! It was your decision to accept the position with a mutual understanding of Starbuck's rules of conduct and performance. Subjecting patrons to your lack of performance is something that shouldn't have to be tolerated. If you don't like your job, go to school, get an education or find a better paying job because the people sitting in line have deadlines they're trying to meet as well as gas that's being burned, which is costly. read more

This is the starbucks I usually go to but I will never again come here. The line was long so I was prepared to wait a bit. I ordered 2 drinks. For one of them, I took the barista's recommendation since the product I wanted was out. The I waited and waited and waited. The car ahead of me must have had some sort of specialty order because I waited about 10 minutes AFTER placing my order. When I got to the window, I paid and received my first drink (the barista recommended order). While waiting for the 2nd, I tried it and was appalled at how disgusting it was. I don't know if the drink was made wrong or what but it just tasted like straight espresso. I couldn't even taste the cinnamon powder on top. And it cost me like 5.50! When the worker came back to the window, I apologized and told her that I really didn't want this drink and if there was any way I could get a refund. I wasn't going to ask for a different drink because I didn't want to hold the line up anymore. She took the drink and scanned my app again. While waiting, she handed me the second drink. The second drink was a frappucino. It was melted as they had obviously made it right after I placed the order, about 15 minutes before at this point. The liquid had somehow gotten all over the cup and, instead of putting it in a new one or wiping it, they just took the whole thing and put it in a different cup so you could see all the spills around the inside cup. The whipped cream sloshing around because it was melted and it just looked overall disgusting. This was a drink I was getting for another person, mind you. So I was obviously irritated at the entire situation and told her that the drink was messy. She ignored me. I was even more irritated and said that the cup was a mess and that I had waited over 10 minutes in line to get a disgusting mess of a drink. She looks at me and says "waited how long??" I said that I waited over 10 minutes for this mess. She, again, ignored me! I told her that I never would've served something that looked like this when I worked food service and she said "it's a good thing you don't work here then" and slammed the drive thru window. Didn't tell me if my refund was completed, didn't offer to fix the mess. I laid on the horn until another worker came to the window and asked about my refund. He said he'd ask her and then came back and said it went through. I told him to tell the girl she was very rude and drove away from the window. I looked at the drink again, decided it was unacceptable to give someone else a drink that looked like this and pulled into a spot, went into the store and asked the man there to remake my drink. I heard the same girl in the back arguing with someone about the whole situation, probably her manager. I took my drink and left. Didn't even get my own drink because of a crappy recommendation by the same woman. Such a disappointment. You know, it's absolutely not okay to treat someone the way I was treated. I've worked in food service and, you know what? No, the customer isn't always right. But when I was obviously in the wrong about something, I always offered to fix it. I've never handed someone a completely melted drink that had spilled all over and that I'd just thrown into another cup as is instead of fixing it. I know there are people who come to starbucks everyday but, for some of us, it's a treat for ourselves and an expensive one at that. Not everyone can afford to spend almost 6 bucks on a drink, let alone twice that and be disappointed with both drinks. And for a company like starbucks? Where it costs literally nothing to just remake a drink and make it acceptable for a person. This woman had obviously lost touch with reality and thought it was acceptable to treat someone who had done nothing wrong like that. Why? Because I didn't like your drink recommendation? Or because I didn't want to deal with a disgusting mess of a drink? I can find better drinks somewhere else for less money and less insult. Thanks. read more

So Starbucks... Big chain, kinda trendy, blah, blah, blah. I have to admit, the service here is great. The baristas are friendly, in the not annoying way if you catch my drift, AND they serve just the right temperature water with their tea. That alone is worthy of five stars in my book! I love tea like most people love coffee and now that they have a some decent options I'll stop in when I just can't make it another step without some lovely tea. Great new Starbucks! They have really nice out door seating at this one! With big umbrellas out there too. The inside is so-so, not the best one I've been to, but it works. The service always seems fast and incredibly friendly. Of course the big bonus is that they have a drive-thru. I mean who doesn't like a drive-thru!? The convenience is definitely worth the drive. I pulled in the drive-thru this afternoon and timed it, I ordered, paid, a received my Iced Passion Fruit tea (OMG SO GOOD) all in the matter of 3 minutes. If that isn't worth it then what is!? The barrista seemed very friendly and repeated my order to me when I handed her money, I can definitely appreciate good efficiency. This is my favorite Starbucks location by far. The staff knows me and my fiancé by name, even though we only go here once a week. It is our weekly go to place for Sunday morning bible study before church. We are usually there for about 2 hours, and get at least 3 refills for free (GOLD CARD MEMBER!!!) I love watching the staff create the drinks waiting for mine their drive thru is always busy and the one girl there she creates the drinks so smoothly...the best part is how she puts the coffee coozy on the cups (random I know but it is cool) it is one swift movement. read more
