I don't usually review a Starbucks but the service was so good today that I wanted to add my opinion. It was a Sunday morning and I was in my way to church. Actually stopped at the bagel shop a few doors down and decided to add a hot cup of coffee. Only two employees at 7:30 in the morning but they both said hi. That was impressive. Really wish I had gotten the younger man's name but he was by far the nicest Starbucks employee I've ever encountered. He asked about my watch and we struck up a conversation. All the while, he continued working (what appeared to be effortlessly) and making coffees. I'm usually the quiet guy so kudos to this young man for his outstanding customer service. Oh by the way. I'm not a huge Starbucks fan, but thought I'd give it another try (plus I wasn't close to home where I could make my own - and they weren't busy inside...and no drive through). I bought a medium cold vanilla coffee, and it was okay. I also bought a package of Madeleines because I love British shortbread and French cakes...these looked tasty. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I tried a couple of bites but that was it. But the coffee was okay. The reason for the two-star is not necessarily due to my disappointment of the cake (or my hunger), but for the service of the staff. I was next in line (only a few people inside), but waited - no big deal...it is a coffee shop. When a worker was ready, she took my order and got it right. That was good. But I might as well have bought from a vending machine and received a warmer welcome. I definitely felt out of place, because it felt like my order was a burden. Not sure if my wording made sense, but it was definitely awkward. I waited for my order at the end of the counter (not a long or short wait, just kind of normal), and the coffee was set at the end. This location needs an expansion. It's nice because it gives you a great, cozy feel, but the service is absolutely atrocious. I use mobile ordering for pick up and I normally order my drink 25/30 minutes before I'll be at that location and it never fails that I walk in and I'm STILL waiting. I understand that this location is wanting to be quaint and for people that have the time to sit in a Starbucks all day weather it be for work/school or because this is where you just go and catch up with friends but for those of us that use this location as our morning pick me up, this is the worst location and progressively gets worse. They constantly seem understaffed and the team here just seems burnt out. My advice for you, avoid this location at all cost if you can, especially if you have a difficult name, they just won't even call your name if they can't read it. read more

Guys this location always comes through!!! They need more stars!!! I live in Arlington but work in Westlake, my fielder location let me down this morning, the barista insisted that there is no foam on top of the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, but I love this drink and know how others make it. So I took his drink and waited till I got to Trophy Club Starbucks. A sweet girl with glasses at the front immediately said that doesn't look right and offered to remake it. I just spent over 45 minutes in the drive-through line at Starbucks in trophy club and still was not able to get my order because I had to leave so I was not late for work. Each car was literally taking 5 to 7minutes at the drive-through window. Absolutely unacceptable! Get your stuff together Starbucks. read more

The manager here is absolutely rude. I ordered a caramel Frappuccino and the cashier rang up a vanilla bean Frappuccino. When I told the cashier it was wrong she gave it to the manager who then looked at me, pointed at the sticker on the beverage and said, "it says Vanilla bean so that means that's what you ordered. I'll make you the caramel Frappuccino but you ordered the vanilla bean." Call me a liar why don't you! I just let her make it and left. Managers should be friendly and accommodating. When mistakes are made they should never make the customer feel the way she made me feel today. Won't be coming back to this location. read more

Normally when I come into this location, it is to have caffeine and study. Usually after work and I'm already tired. The staff is nice and friendly each time. Especially talkative to the regulars but I feel I have become a regular too, at what point do they learn my name? I guess it will be a while because they have never asked me what it is, not even for my drinks. The drinks are always made to order and are hot plus they taste great. Even the brewed coffee has not disappointed me at this location. The atmosphere is brighter than normal today, usually it has a dark romantic ambience which make it harder to study. But Today, when I do not have any materials, the lights are on full watts and it is quitter than usual. Not fair. I will keep coming and some day they may even know my name. read more

Absolute catastrophe of a Starbucks. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY!!! You will wait double the time it would take to get to the Roanoke or Southlake stores with drive-thurs. This store honestly needs to be shut down. WAITED 30 min for an iced coffee and still walked out of there with NOTHING! There was a crowd of us waiting for our orders to be served after we had already waited in line & paid ... after 20 min of watching 1 man make drinks, 1 older woman take orders, & 1 older woman wipe counters & use the oven - several of us costumers decided to ask for our money back. It took 2 older women staring at the cash register (who clearly have 0 experience) to figure out how to refund & couldn't come up with the decency to offer a "get one free" card for the inconvenience of the customers. As a current customer & former Starbucks employee, I literally had to tell them how to do their job!!! In the end 4 of us walked out of there empty handed & LATE for our Saturday obligations. Previous review: S-L-O-W as Molasses!!!!!! I've tried coming here for years and it's always THE slowest starbucks I've EVER been to in any city or any state! It's a shame. I literally just walked out because the line was so long & unmoving. They always make me late for wherever I am going because of their slow-pokiness. The other day I came here there were 4 workers behind the bar, 2 were talking to each other, one on register, and one at the espresso machine... the 2 talking to each other couldn't be bothered to stop & attend to customers or help their co-workers. Not sure what has happened in last few months, but service has been on a decline and today was the worst! 1) Asked for them to redeem my stars but got charged instead "sorry ____ is broken" 2) The guy who ordered after me got my drink, I've been waiting 15 minutes and now I'm late for daycare pick up "sorry our stickers don't print" 3) Their holiday cup was out of stock (main reason why I stopped to get a drink) "sorry we're sold out" Really??? This Starbucks is one of the slowest and most unfriendliest locations I've been to. Today I ordered food and it took long to come out. Then come to find out that they never heated up THEN it took long for them to bring it to be after I told them about the wait. Mind you they don't even have a drive through. Also come to find out they rather stay on the phone and chit chat with each other. When I got it it felt like it has been sitting on the counter and let cool because the bread wrap was hard feeling like when it's stale. How hard is it to heat up a wrap? Or smile? I usually don't give out reviews, but this warrants it. This is the second time I have driven to this Starbucks waited inside for over 10 minutes when I can see my mobile order sitting behind the glass because the staff isn't capable of lifting their heads up and talking to the customers inside waiting. I finally got my drinks and drive home and what do you know, my drink is made completely wrong and not once but twice now. If you can't read the stickers that print out you probably shouldn't be making coffee. Avoid this Starbucks at all costs. read more

The employees are great. Always friendly. That being said, the service is extremely slow and this morning my middle school daughter and I waited 45 minutes on a mobile order. I had to call the store from my cell phone in order to get it moving, and I was told "there's lots of mobile orders". The bathroom is usually dirty, the only trash can available is right where people fix their coffee (there used to be another one by the door), and the space itself just never feels clean. I live in Trophy Club, so I frequent this site often as it's convenient, but I never hesitate to go to the one in Southlake or Keller instead if I'm heading that way. They need more space, not that it's likely to happen. read more

The worst Starbucks around. The employees are rude! Multiple of my drinks was have not been good, and they told me that they couldn't be fixed...that the issue was because I hadn't ordered ice in my beverage? Instead of making my drink with equal amounts of parts from both tea and water, they filled the extra space with just water. The drink was horrible and watered down. $5 wasted, one day I had enough & I took it to another Starbucks to see their thoughts. They were so sorry and fixed it right away...it's been delicious ever since. The three kids working at 11:40 on Saturday are slow and too busy joking around to make drinks. They are out of certain drinks and aren't very accommodating to guests. This Starbucks is so-so. There a only a few baristas that I enjoy talking to. Tyler (maybe the manager) is the saving grace for the store. He is always friendly and acts like he is glad that I come in. Any time I come in the morning the counter is full of mobile orders which really slows down order-in customers. Some of the baristas don't act like they know I'm in the store, they are too busy talking among themselves. The cafe is really small so forget getting a table unless you want to sit outside. There is a big difference in the customer service between the people who work in the morning (Kari, Maria, Mohammed, and the guy with long hair) and those in the evening (Marc, Julian, and the other young kids). read more

And then they say "oh yeah it's on the counter". And the lady is upset, because what's the point in telling them your name of those idiots aren't going to shout out your name.
