This by far one of the worst Starbucks I've been to. I've gone here several times since moving to Sumter and always seem to be disappointed. Regardless of how many people are in the building or drive thru, everything takes at least 10 minutes. They consistently forget to get our bakery items or breakfast sandwiches. The bathroom never seems to have toilet paper. And the staff is unfriendly with a few exceptions in the afternoon week day staff. If you're in a hurry or want decent customer service, I'd suggest going elsewhere. If you like being ignored by staff, not getting your ordered or watching people stand around when they could be getting orders ready then this is the place for you. read more

Went here last week x 2 on separate days and they were out of skim milk and sugar free vanilla. Why is this store out of these items? Go to a grocery store and get more skim milk, that's easy to solve! Seems like managers are not keeping on top of their inventory and someone isn't ordering enough! Someone needs to look into this store and fix it! read more

The cashier who took my order "miss Megan" was very unhelpful and rude, I simply asked what drink had the most caffeine in it and she simply said 'well you can add a shot of espresso to anything'. That's not what I asked... so I ordered a small hot chocolate and she proceeded to cut me off and tell me that hot chocolate doesn't come with expresso shots, which I am fully aware of so I informed her that I was aware of that and ask her to add 6 shots to my drink, it was totaled out and I informed her I was paying part cash part card to which I received a nasty ugh sound. The drink itself was not blended well and NONE of the workers seemed like they wanted to be there, much less care about their customers. The white chocolate mocha frappé is awesome! They have been really busy everytime we come since they opened but it's to be expected.

Fast internet, even when the store is busy. Depending on who is there your order can taste pretty different (amount of syrup used etc..) but the majority of the staff are really nice and friendly, they quickly remember you and your order preference. read more

Awful experience. Customer service was terrible and employees were rude. Machines were broken and they were out of most all ingredients (ex: mocha and java chip). Wasn't informed of these issues until we waited 40 minutes for our drinks. read more

Waited in the drive thru line for 45 minutes. They still don't have my order ready. Terrible service when it takes 45 minutes to make three cars orders in front of me. Starbucks Website says "5 minutes or less"; on-site says "45 minutes and maybe we will have it ready." It's faster to go to Walmart across the street, buy a coffee maker and make your own coffee. The Service at this Starbucks is AMAZING!!! The staff are Very Friendly, and helpful in assisting with different and intricate orders. The drive thru window offers service with a smile on the go, and is just as reliable as going in for service. Dirtiest Starbucks I've ever been in, by far. Shocking. Filth on floor, dirty kitchen, cluttered counters. Wow. Visiting from out of town and like no Starbucks I've ever seen. This is my second complain. I have been given cold coffee or luke warm coffee. Today I gave the Barista my phone so I could put money on my card .. I put the phone in her hand she put my phone on the counter laid it down not back in my hand. This really upset me very bad. The complains doesn't help on the way they treat the customers. It would be nice if we all could be treated the same in public and especial in the coffee shop or STARBUCK. I do agree with the review they need more help and more training on Customers Service they doesn't care they just want a pay check. The baristas are very RUDE. Conscientious staff with perky smiles saying upon each sale, "Do you need room?" and "Do you want your receipt," as if they had never asked these questions before. Great de facto office space, Wi-Fi connection as sure to be made as Christmas is to come. Great place to conduct job interviews and an even better place to eavesdrop on job interviews if eavesdropping is your thing. Outside tables another plus if the weather is nice but if not a great place to sit in the rain if being wet is your bliss. Two little rooms, one for "Men" and one for "Women," each with a lavatory, a mirror, and a self-flushing commode. On the third Thursday of the month a middle-aged man in a beaver suit distributes packets of Chuckles candy, autographed pictures of Peter Graves, and DVD box-sets of every episode of "Fury." read more

I don't normally frequent Starbucks because it seems overpriced for what it is, but today I decided to treat myself after a long day at work. I went through the drive thru & the first sandwich I ordered they were out of, the second she had to check on, so I finally landed on a sausage egg & cheese. I then ordered an iced cinnamon almond milk macchiato (the one advertised on their menu), when I drove up she didn't greet me, instead said $8.59 & held out her hand . I placed my card in her hand & she shoved a sandwich bag out to me. A few seconds later she handed me back my card & a hot drink. Before I could say anything she slammed the window & was back to her headset. I waited patiently & she finally opened the window & stared at me. I said, this was supposed to be iced? She ROLLED HER EYES, then said okay & snatched the drink from me. A couple minutes later she opened the window & very aggressively handed me the iced coffee. She never offered an apology, thanked me for coming, or anything. She just slammed the window back. I said to the window, thank you for coming so sorry for the mix up please come again! I know that was dumb, but it made me feel better. I think it will be a while before I come back. For that price, nearly $10.00, you would think you would at least get a thanks! read more

I gave one star because the customer services goes hand to hand with the products provides by a company. This Starbucks store has the worst customer services ever!!! They are always unorganized and don't know what is the order, they never provide napkins in the car through, we have to ask and they always do it with attitude and they always run out of the food. If the store sales a lot because is the only store in Sumter the manager should order more of the food and not wait until is out of the product. read more
