You can genuinely tell she enjoys what she does, and it makes a big difference in the overall atmosphere. Service is always quick and efficient, but never rushed. Tye really goes out of her way to accommodate and make sure everything is right, which is rare these days. The place itself is always clean, and the restrooms are spotless every time I've been in. Everything just feels calm, organized, and professional. It's one of those places where you actually enjoy stopping by instead of just grabbing what you need and leaving. We came here after lunch and there wasn't a long wait. This location is clean and has a big pick up area that is alphabetized which I thought was unique from the others. I used my points to get a free nitro cold brew and was super excited for it. It didn't take long but when I received it, it had ice in it. I've never had a Nitro cold brew with sweet cream with ice in it. It's normally just served cold and that's why I enjoy this type of coffee. I mentioned it to the girl behind the counter and asked her if she could just strain the ice and maybe top it off. She did attempt to strain out the ice but then it looked like she just topped it off with more sweet cream and not the nitro cold brew. The coffee was basically white at this point and not balanced, you can barely taste the coffee part. I was a bit disappointed so when I got home I just made a shot of espresso and added it to my coffee to make it less sweet and creamy. I have been to this location 2x in person and then had something delivered to me once. Each time they mess up my order so bad. Once they saw me standing in the pick up area for my mobile order, asked me my name and said oh yeah got you right here *says name of my drink* Proceeded to make 5 other drinks then looked at mine after I waited another 15 minutes past when I was told it'd be ready and said oh sorry we're out of cold brew. The staff are completely incompetent. Had a drink delivered today that was suppose to be a Carmel Macchiato but instead was maybe a vanilla blonde espresso that was watered down. This is the closest Starbucks to my house so we visit pretty often. It is also a popular hangout for local teens. Pretty much every time we go,my daughter will see people she knows. It is also usually busy with people working on laptops or doing homework so sometimes seating is limited. They do, however, have outdoor seating. As far as ordering, we don't usually have issues with the order but it can be a wait inside or through the drive-thru. We enjoy all the deals we get through Starbucks Rewards so I definitely recommend using a registered gift card if you are a frequent visitor to Starbucks. read more

This is my "new" Starbucks location since my office has moved locations. They are just as friendly as every other Starbucks, but I think they over heat their drinks. I usually order it extra hot, but their regular temperature drinks usually come out pretty hot- so I don't have to. Sometimes, their regular coffee tastes a little burnt- which hasn't been an issue before at any other location. These things won't stop me from going there, as I think this location is in a great spot, easy to pull in/out of and they are relatively quick with the orders. I visited this location this afternoon and though they were in the midst of a BOGO promotion which definitely increased their clientele they still greeted me, took my order and prepared my drink in less than 10 minutes. The drinks were good though one was missing it's garnish when I checked, they quickly corrected this issue and I was on my way. Every time I'm here, there's an issue. This morning it was short staffed so only the drive thru was open. Pretty great place to come get coffee. I had one minor mishap in the many times I have been here. They put down my husbands coffee and called out the drink instead of the name. Someone ended up picking it up and looking at it while sticking a straw in it before we realized it was ours. They didn't offer to remake it. So we had to take it. I went inside this store approx. 9:40 a.m. on June 8, 2024. There was no line, the drive-thru wasn't real long, but there were cars. I placed an order of Kale/Mushroom Egg Bites (the Gruyiere Bacon ones were out), a Cheddar, sausage, egg sandwich, and 1 Venti Iced Caramel Latte with Almond MIlk. The total was an attrocious $19.48, but I was hungry and I paid it, and told the sweet girl that I was with a group meeting outside and would be leaving soon and I was heading to the bathroom. The girl said it would be ready in a few minutes. I had to wait on the bathroom, and then had my turn. When I was finished, neither my drink nor my food were ready, so I waited. at 10:00 a.m., my drink was still not finished, I told them that I was going to have to leave to please hurry, she handed me my drink and yelled about my food. the other girl said she was starting on it now...STARTING ON IT! At 10:05 a.m. my husband came ini to see what was taking so long and to tell me the group was leaving. I told the nearest girl from before that I had to leave, or I would be left. She just looked at me and said they were working on it. I left. I paid $19.48 for a Latte. I have never received great or fast service at this store, but this was awful. 26 minutes, and there were at least 5 workers behind that counter. I will never come to that location again. The Starbucks on Dorchester Road in Wescott in North Charleston is a great place for coffee and drinks. It is also a great place to meet people for business purposes as they have outdoor and indoor seating and a cool place to get some work done as they have plenty of outlets to plug in and charge and good wifi. The service here is fast and efficient as they work hard to keep the line moving and prepare all of the orders. Everyone that works here is cool and friendly too. This Starbucks is always clean and well run and I have had a great experience every time I have been in there. This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations in the Charleston area and it is great to have a place that is consistently good like this. read more

Got woken up to 2 little girls excited for the tie-dye frappuccino. Drove to the nearest location and sent them in to get their drinks. They said when they ordered the people behind the counter were like "yay we get to make another one". This is what they made and felt ok taking our money to do so. The colorful drink picture was one my cousin got from another location in Summerville and it definitely resembles what the drink is supposed to look like. I stop in here when I am grocery shopping since it's right across the way. There isn't ever really a line (I am usually there Sunday morning or Sunday evening) and the staff is very friendly. My only complaint is that I have to repeat my drink order a billion times before they finally get it right. I understand that its a custom order (Passion Tea Lemonade 3 Pumps Raspberry 3 Pumps Classic, in case anyone wants to send one my way...), but still. I'm always sure to say it very slow and clear but there are still issues. This may just be their outdoor mic thing (I'm still not sure how those work). Overall, though, I definitely prefer this location to my usual spot on Rivers. I've yet to go indoors, but the outside of the building is neat and clean.
