This branch of Starbucks is one of three locations which Starbucks have in the large Meadowhall Mall, this is a type of mall kiosk, although not the typical layout like the other branch in the mall near Sports Direct at Lower Gallery, I find this branch here at The Arcade part of the centre is a little bit quieter and more relaxed, which is good.
The range of seating at the branch also is okay at best, it isn't great so at peak, busy times it can get really busy, despite being a mall kiosk it still has some familiar Starbucks traits and isn't laid out so badly, that you wanted to get the hell out of there, like I felt at the other Starbucks branch here at Lower Gallery.
As mentioned, this store is in "The Arcade" part of the store, it is on the lower floor and is fairly close to Marks and Spencer, and below Santander bank.
I didn't have a really long interaction with the staff and I didn't order a drink here, I mainly met my friend here and sat down for a few minutes, using the wifi, before heading back to the car ahead of a reasonably long journey home, the seating area was quite comfortable as it was a little quiet.
There weren't toilets in the store with it being a kiosk, the nearest ones were probably down the row and opposite Greggs, right of the kiosk with the restaurants or in Marks and Spencer, there wasn't really any signs for them.
Two-star rating - Decent for a mall kiosk but a merely average Starbucks store, with good and poor facilities hence not warranting anything over a two-star rating. read more
