Starbucks - E. Race Ave. (Searcy) Update: I had a chance to return, get work done, spend time inside and chat with friendly baristas. All the while, sipping on my For-Here Mug, Hot Tea, and enjoying delicious, "Crispy Grilled Cheese on Sourdough." - It offers good garlic flavor with melted cheese texture. The sandwich was my first time at Starbucks. Overall, it was surprisingly delicious. Partially because it was prepared with love by these baristas. I would like to see little more cheese added to the sandwich for thickness and volume. Staff is so helpful here. The place looks and feels clean. They offer nine tables with roughly twenty chairs. It's a large space for this location. Only thing I think they need is more seating options to fill in the voided spaces. Otherwise, definitely recommend for you to stop by and enjoy your stay. Previous Review: I normally like to sit and enjoy my stay. I couldn't this time. I was passing through here for a business trip. I just had enough time to stop in, order some drinks for the meeting and that's it. Staff were great too. They prepared my drinks properly and efficiently. The place looked clean, modern with good amount of seating. Good size outdoor patio too. Exterior reminded me of a similar design, located in Springdale, AR. I'm looking forward to returning and enjoying my stay longer. read more

They are the best, but boy what a night last night...ughhhhh!! We had the worst night at Starbucks in searcy. I personally never not even once have had an issue, they have always been just simply kind. Now of course they know me and my family members by our drinks (I guess we are picky. ). But last night the young gentleman wouldn't hear me out. He just kept talking not making much sense and I was personally trying to simply have them fix the first drink I ordered which was a vanilla Latte with 5 brown sugar. I got a cafe' latte one pump vanilla at $0.80. All I wanted to do was get that fixed correctly and then we could start all over on my other order as it was all kinds of wrong. On top of that I got to the window after I did get upset and had to just to ole guy to stop talking and just listen. Another gentleman jumped n the mic like "I'll take it from here (rudley) I just said man let's change the tone here. Gave it a few seconds and the repeated my order for the 5th time. Anyhoo, got to the window , manager looked to be making the drinks and so I asked her, now this isn't correct because I needed a vanilla latte, she kinda sat it down hard and said "it is a vanilla latte, so yall fixed it? No response which that's fine. I figured it was all messed up and when I arrived at my mother in laws she stated that isn't correcT. Plus I only got one of my white chocolate mochas which that's all they charged me for I think. Gave me my drinks and I could had drove off as they didn't ask me to pay or anything. I finally said "the total was like $16 bucks right?" (I couldn't just not pay, I didnt want free coffee, I just wanted correct coffee.) I paid a rode off. This was the only issue i have ever had, I bet it's the only one I'll ever have. Everyone is truly so humble and kind. I love all those people. The gentleman that I bet everyone knows as the most humble and kind man everyone has ever met, he is absolutely awesome!!!! Make him a manager and watch sales sky rocket, people coming inside etc. He is just the type person you need to talk daily. Still the best. I will not allow one small issue harm the relationships I have built with great folks up there over many years. Stop by at this Starbucks location on our way up to Northern Arkansas. Location was easy to find and the space inside looks very nice and clean. Friendly staff members with great customer service. Plenty of parking spaces and seating indoor and outdoor. We ordered our drinks and it came out even better than we thought. Some Starbucks location their barista aren't able to make drinks the right way. Nothing seemed water down, like some places I have encounter. read more

Love our Searcy Starbucks. My afternoon was made so much better by the Starbucks barista. I didn't get the employee's name, as he had a pin or sticker on his name tag. His name started with a B. He had a great friendly smile and voice kinda like a very very sweet version of Kermit the Frog. I was upset about something completely unrelated to Starbucks, but I couldn't help but smile back. Two stars for the friendly staff. This is one of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Staff needs to be trained better. If you are a district manager reading this review, this location needs attention. My go to Starbucks place because it's the closest to where I live. I've been coming here for the past almost 8 months and everyone has always been nice. I basically get Starbucks once a week the day before every exam I have. My drinks are always made the way I like it. For those complaining about waiting, just have patience. You don't know what's going on behind the counter or what the person is going through. read more

Stopped by this location after a swim meet in the area, after discovering that the location near the college was CLOSED! Never experienced a Starbucks being closed on a Sunday before (without it being a holiday). Was helped by a kind African American gentleman (I didn't catch his name or look at his apron for his name), and ordered 2 drinks. He was very down to earth and I asked his opinion about the Black & White mocha they had advertised on their board. He said he personally liked it so I decided to try it. Got another drink and a cookie, then went to wait for our order. He walked over to the end of the counter to strike up more conversation, that he had a friend in school also named Janina! I like hearing these things because I know here in the states it isn't as popular as in other countries. He was just so friendly! Cait(I actually looked for her name after realizing I didn't get the young man's name after he helped me) called out my name for our order and asked, ever so sweetly, "Did I say it right?", almost like she'd be afraid to offend me or upset me if she did. I told her she said my name right and she was happy and relieved. My B&W mocha was tasty! Hopefully it's something I can still order as like a "secret menu" item later on when they're no longer advertising it. Drive thru is lined up to the street but walk in is closed. Having to wait in a line 15 cars deep for a mobile ordered drink is ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and go to the coffee shop across the street read more

Today, just now, their hours state they are open. We waited in line at the order kiosk for almost 10 minutes. A couple of ladies went inside and didn't pick up the headsets to inform customers of wait time or anything. We pulled up to the check out window to see if we could order there, couldn't see anyone inside. We had to leave and as we were leaving we could see the line backed up to the parking lot. I tried calling as we were leaving and no one answered the phone. A little communication through the drive thru could go a long way, and they are delaying many peoples mornings with their unprofessionalism. Starbucks is a multibillion(19+ billion) dollar industry, I don't understand them being short staffed or whatever the issues are. read more

This Starbucks became my go-to place for a while. It's really the only cafe to study/work in that isn't insanely busy all the time. Staff is very friendly. Drinks are always on point. I wish they carried the lunch boxes (protein box) though. Sometimes the WiFi is slow, but I think that's a General Searcy problem. They have their own parking lot with plenty of spaces. Located near the highway, so it's very easy to stop by if you're traveling. read more

Recently moved here from Seattle. I don't see Starbucks as necessarily good coffee, it's decent, but more like McDonald's - where you can go to any location anywhere and order the same thing every time and it will always taste the same. This location still seems to be learning (it's a newer establishment?). Shots sit too long, wrong syrups are mixed in, temperatures are too high or too low, service is slow. Staff is friendly though. This morning, my elderly father, who is half deaf came through the drive-through window. The man running the window was in his late 20s and had a full beard. We did not catch his name. My father asked him to repeat himself when the man said something about a drink. Instead of doing so, the man got an attitude. My father ask again he got an attitude. At this point, as as he was handing us the last drink on our order, The man running the drive-through window intentionally flung the hot coffee cup at my elderly father. It's splashed on him and burnt him, although he was able to catch the coffee. He then close the window and did a shoe gesture to my father. With all of the bad publicity Starbucks has had lately, with a racist employees to the point where you guys had to do a sensitivity inservices, employees like this man, are doing a disservice to your corporation. I would suggest anybody who has an elderly parents who might take a little extra time ordering, not to come to this location on Race Street in Searcy Arkansas. read more

I'm giving this Starbucks 4 stars to make up for the low ratings early on. Yes, it did take them a while to get their groove going. When they first started it took longer to get and order than the usual, established Starbucks. Over time I have noticed that the crew is functioning more as a team, rather than individuals trying to get too much done on their own. They're even getting to the point where if you are relatively regular, some of the staff remember your drink! They do have a Clover, not available in all stores and the coffee from it is excellent. One of the best things about Starbucks in general is they have started offering gluten free items. What I've found is that some people like the Starbucks taste, others don't. Very little middle ground. If you are a liker, you'll enjoy this place, especially if you are the "hang out at the coffee shop" kinda person. It is not usually packed, as a lot of its business is drive through. read more

Walked over to Starbucks while staying in the Hampton. I'd have to say that the baristas were the friendliest of all the Starbucks staff I've been too. I ordered the Midnight Mint & Mocha Frappe with a shot of espresso, and it was by far the best one I've had. The building looked newer, and it was definitely in a convenient location. Wow! I was the only person in line in the store, and only wanted my cup filled with hot water and two tea bags for said cup. Over 6 minutes for this to happen and I was paying with my starbuck's app. Likely the least friendly location I have been to including airport locations. read more

The baristas are moving things along better in both in store and drive through ordering. I've complained a bit about certain items not being available way too often and that's improved. They do a great job with making the specialty drinks, especially those during the Christmas season. read more

Im not a big fan of atarbucks to begin with due to their outrageous prices and lets be honest, there is way better coffee out there. Since hastings coffee shop closed starbucks is the next best choice. I just went through the drive thru and ordered a venti mocha frap with no cool whip. They handed me one with cool whip. I stated i asked for no cool whip and they took it back. I watched them through the window take it and scrape the cool whip off and change the lid and hand it right back to me!!!! Seriously????? At least go away from the window if ur just gonna scrape it off and not remake it. Half the cool whip is still on the top! read more

Best Starbucks I've ever been to hands down. I would highly recommend this store to anyone in the area.

This location is very very slow. My longest wait has been 30 minutes, average wait 15 minutes. Some of the works are very nice and some are very nasty. I had to go inside and have them remake my coffee and the lady was very nasty with me, ever since then she's very short with me. read more

There are a few times Starbucks has been a disappointment, but this new location takes it to a whole new level! At 1:00 pm we stopped for coffee before heading home to Houston. There was no one at the counter waiting for coffee, one person sitting at a table, but it took 13 minutes to get a coffee and tea! It seems that they were only serving people in the drive thru not customers who stood before them. When I asked for my venti coffee to be double cupped, it is after all very hot, I only got grief that that was no longer "policy" at Starbucks. There was never ANY apology or explanation given, just a cavalier attitude from the large sized barista. I asked for a refund after 11 minutes, but was refused! read more

The place has rude baristas, but the typical customer in this town is also very rude. They are probably responding to the rude jerks that abuse them customer after customer. I worked in customer service here years ago and will never do it again. More because of the College 'Church' of Christ than any other entity in town. It still isn't o.k. for the workers to be this rude and slow. The other Starbucks in town is staffed by Aramark and the kids behind the counter there are very nice. Even though you have to walk through groups of leering COC snobs to walk into the place, the workers are fast, friendly, and efficient. They get me out fast with a perfect coffee so I can be on my way and the snobs can stop staring at me and wondering why I am there. The Race Street Starbucks needs improvement but I would go there every time instead of that joke of a coffee house Midnight Oil even if the latter offered to serve me for the rest of my life for free. read more
