Showed up 4 minutes before closing on 9/30/25. We asked the worker if we could still order since we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us! Especially hard driving at night! Coming from Colorado on a family trip, and unfortunately the overall experience in Kansas has been disappointing. People have been unusually rude and disrespectful -- especially at this Starbucks near the mall in Salina. The drinks were fine, but the service was so cold and dismissive that it completely ruined the stop. Starbucks is known for being a welcoming and relaxed environment, but this location missed the mark. Definitely not the kind of energy you hope for on a road trip. read more

Ive been visiting this Starbucks every time I am in town for the last few years. The drinks and food are consistent and excellent. They are always very quick and today our barista was very sweet. Venti WCM with extra shots and at a cooler temp so I can drink it ASAP. Perfecto! read more

Do not mobile order at this store. Their inventory isn't updated and if they don't have what u order they WONT REFUND YOU!?! Great attitudes from the staff almost of the time, today I waited 5 minutes for my pastries and 25 minutes for my drink, I needed to get to work so I asked what place in line my drink was as they were busy I gave them my name and rough drink order as I thought they'd look it up and it would be easier to find on the computer if they knew basically what I had ordered...they marked me as picked up and made my rough drink order, no cold foam or flavor that I had ordered and paid for on the mobile app. I'm so glad they are working so hard and I love the atmosphere but it's tough to wait so long for tea and not even get what I paid for. Their drinks the ice was melted took forever to give me my drinks. Didn't even try to remake it and very rude . Usually I like this Starbucks but today the service was bad and the drinks were melted. I was excited to try out some of the drinks from the secret menu but the service wasn't great and the drinks I just wished it was fresh. I did buy online so I wouldn't have to go thru the line. Sweetest Starbucks crew I've experienced yet. I travel a lot and service is usually okay at Starbucks, but this night crew was extra sweet.

Worst service, so slow. Do not recommend if you are traveling. The two girls working had no motivation and consideration for peoples time.

Starbuck's has a B1G1 going on during December on Thursdays between 5-7 pm. I pulled into the parking lot at 6:50 pm. The drive through wasn't moving and there were 3 cars in front of me still to order. I pulled out my phone and mobile ordered. I parked and waited 10 minutes to head inside. There were two groups of teens and a handful of singles wating on orders. 5-6 employees were working. One of the baristas pulled off 5-6 orders from the mobile machine and started labeling cups. Another barista was filling hot beverages. So I've waited 10 minutes outside, another 10 mintes inside and I still have no drinks. My 3 are part of the 5-6 that were pulled of the mobile machine as I came in 10 minutes earlier sittng in line to be prepped and mixed. In the meantime more orders come in at the counter and more on the mobile. Those are completed and out the door they go. I fully understand that baristas don't like frappuccino drinks. However when it takes 40 minutes from order to receipt, those beverages ought to look and taste superb. They didn't. They were sloppy and the whip flattened out in 10 minutes after I left with the drinks. Starbuck's created the mobile process to expedite orders and essentially jump the line waiting to order. It only works when the store uses the process correctly. This location doesn't do that, at least not during happy hour. This location is not worth the long wait. I've traveled all over and visited many Starbuck's in other cities and states. It can be done better. In the meantime if you're in a hurry, can't wait more than 10 minutes, Don't shop here the service is substandard and the quality leaves something to be desired; at least during happy hour. read more

Starbucks little pastry selection saves me sometimes when I need some goodies for customers. There is no other pastry place that I know of in Salina. Pretty sad there is not a local artisinal bakery in a town of this size in the middle of wheat fields!!! Anyway, the starbucks stuff is usually shipped in frozen (but fully cooked) and it thaws to some pretty darn tasty bites. The coffee cakes and cookies are always good. The coffee? Overroasted in my view. So I get a pour over of the blonde and it tastes fine (i.e. not burnt). read more

The coffee was good, but don't look to be greeted, welcomed, or even acknowledged until you stand there long enough that they realize that you won't simply leave. I'm not trying to be overly harsh, but when you pay more one of the things you should get more of its customer service. Ordered an Affogato Frappuccino. The order taker didn't ask what size I wanted so he tossed the cup he started writing on into the trash and got the size I actually wanted. My friend wanted the same size (venti) in the drink he ordered, but when the drinks were presented they had given him a grande. My drink was not to order, Evidently, because this featured drink is 'newer,' they do not know how to assemble it. It was not frozen as they normally are and for an affogato, the espresso is poured over the top. It was put at the bottom of the drink, not blended, unfrozen drink...not good. Another trash worthy item which is where most of it ended up when we reached our next destination.. Luckily my friends granite seemed to quench his thirst. A side note. The drive up window had a HUGE line which is why we chose to go inside. By the time we finally got out we noticed the exactly same vehicle was at the back of the line and in the same location as it was when we went inside. ( 20 mins later.) read more

The only SB in this small town. When making a visit in Salina I come here to grab my coffee but was disappointed by the taste of it. Ordered my fav drink the white mocha extra hot no whip and It doesn't taste right. I request for them to make me a new one since it taste so bland and not like the ones I get in CALIFORNIA. So, this is about the most worst Starbucks I have ever been too, within all the Starbucks I have visited. They have 5 people working the store, 2 in the drive thru and 3 on the regular cashier. There is literally 3 people when my husband and i walked in. The worker's are not welcoming, nor "alive" one of the lady worker, is nearly possibly looking at the glass half full. They are not professional here, worst service! Makes me think how did they get this job! The only thing awesome I can say is, my chorizo egg sandwich was tasty. I am not quite sure how this location remains open. On the VERY rare occasion that I buy my coffee here, they ALWAYS make it wrong. I have not been to this location in over a year because of this. Today my husband went through the drive through (only because the place we normally go the espresso machine was broken) and as per their usual poor performance they made my coffee wrong. Save yourself the time and grief and go across the street to the Dillons. The staff is always pleasant and my coffee is always perfect!! You can also receive good service at the Target location on south 9th and the Petro location on North 9th. The manager at the drive through location should be fired for alllwoing such poor performance by the employees. Obviously she/he has zero leadership and managerial skills!! It has not changed one bit despite my calling the corporate headquarters. The only thing was a $20 dollar gift loaded on my Starbucks gold card. The coffee is always good but service is incredibly slow. The drive through sat empty yet no one help the "inside barrista."

Very disappointed! First of all, the barista must have thought she deserved a five dollar tip because that's what I was shorted in the change she handed back to me. Secondly, my husband received a cup of foam instead of the cappuccino he'd ordered. We won't return to the Salina location. read more

Really disappointed in them. We drove through this morning at 5:45 Am. Every light was on in the store, and all the outside lights were on including the drive thru. We could see people walking around in the store, so we assumed it was open. Sat at the drive thru speaker for about 5 minutes before we gave up and pulled around. We didn't see anywhere where the hours were posted. Had to get online to see they didn't open til 6 AM. Very poor business practice. I have been to this Starbucks a few times and the experience was nothing near as bad as it was the last time I went (last weekend). There were a lot of people behind the counter which I thought was odd, there was a girl with her hair down making coffee, and not to mention, a whole lot of immaturity and obnoxious behavior. We went through the drive-thru originally and as usual, asked for 3 separate orders. This had never been a problem until that day--the girl let us know that we were only allowed two separate orders, so instead of trying to figure it out with her in the drive-thru we went in...big mistake. I have never experienced a more immature Starbucks staff and one never quit complaining about getting her lunch break. My friend overheard another girl making coffee (and no ponytail) drop the f-word 3 times. When my drink was called the barista said, "and here's your very berry, thingy hibiscus refresher, thing, thingy. Yeah." So if you go, good luck. read more
