The staff were friendly, and the shop had a really cool industrial atmosphere. The blue collar theme carries throughout the decor, including a door handle shaped like a large tool. The dim lighting gives the shop a relaxed feeling, and its location near the river makes the surrounding area even better. This place got the nod. When you walk in, you walk towards the back of the place, and then find someone to order your ice cream. They had a bunch of flavors, but one of them caught my eye (okay, several did, but I had to cut back). I went with their Cheesecake special, which was their cheesecake ice cream with strawberries, blueberries and graham cracker crust mixed in, in a cup. The counter person grabbed a large chunk of cheesecake ice cream (larger than I expected), and maneuvered it to the cold stone. There she worked in the graham cracker crust, the strawberries (2) and blueberries (around 8) into the ice cream mix. Then she placed it carefully into a cup, stuck in a spoon, and I paid for the mixture. I only had to wait a few minutes to be served, and they had a lot of customers. Seating is available inside, so we grabbed a seat and ate the ice cream. It was pretty good. The place is your typical ice cream place - pictures of product on the walls, and ice cream in the freezer cases in front of you. Honestly, if you are looking for good ice cream you can stop here and get some.

The minimum purchase is $35 for pick up and I think $65 for delivery, but don't quote me on the delivery pricing. I've never been provided expired or near expiration items. (Unlike a store down the street that could have a sister named MetalWoman's. lol) Overall, Meijer and its staff have truly saved me. I appreciate this service SO VERY MUCH.
