I really wanted to like this place but I was underwhelmed - 3 stars…read more This was my second visit. Unfortunately, I'm not thrilled with Moojo's. I can't exactly put my finger all the reasons. But they seem to be somewhat schizophrenic. They can't decide if they want to be a nicknack gift store or a coffee shop or an ice cream parlor. They make an attempt to do all three...but it ends up being a disappointing combination. The ice cream is okay. It's Cedar Crest ice cream which is alright, nothing special. This is Wisconsin's version of Kemps ice cream which is, basically, grocery store ice cream. It definitely isn't high end ice cream. (Of course, premium ice cream is also more expensive.) The brewed coffee and the coffee beans and the whole coffee shop side of things is okay. But the whole vibe seems like a strange afterthought inside a boring space that's inside a small strip mall. This isn't a space were I'd feel comfortable relaxing and spending time with friends. I don't like the weird location on the far south end of town. And it doesn't seem to be the appropriate style of building. Usually, coffee shops are dark and warm and personalized and mellow. Instead, it's in a newer strip mall. There's no main street access. You have to enter from the far back and drive around the side of the complex to park in front. Weird. And the entire space itself is bright and seems kinda unwelcoming. Last but not least, there's an empty space next door, available for rent, with no wall. So you get to see all the empty space, unused chairs, junk sitting around, etc. This is not the fault of Moojo's, it's on the landlord. Still, pretty tacky. They should at least hang some large curtains to block this off and close things up. I respect what they're trying to do but I think they should rethink the basic concept. In my personal opinion, they should dump the T-shirts & collectibles and go all-in with coffee and ice cream. And they should try hard to make the whole space more comfortable and a place where people can relax and hang out. Unfortunately, as it is right now, I probably won't go back to this one again. - Maxx

Over the years I have developed quite the obsession with tea, especially loose leaf tea. My home…read morehouses roughly 30-50 different varieties of loose leaf tea on any given day. I enjoy collecting and sampling wide varieties. I am a bit of a fan... Cedar Lake Teas has a decent enough selection of tea whether it be loose leaf or bagged. Their selection is not enough to win me over but it is a good start! They may not offer the largest selection of tea but you can feel the love that has been put into the selection they do offer. I love the ginger peach (even though I hate ginger in most forms) and the hibiscus bliss most. What truly won my heart with Cedar Lake Tea is that I currently reside in New Richmond and they are a local New Richmond based company that has stretched their arms out to surrounding areas. I love going to both local and not so local stores and restaurants only to spot Cedar Lake Teas on the menu. It gives me the warm fuzzies. Another great reason to support this company is the fact that you can call up their Warehouse and place an order directly through them to pick up! The staff members have always been courteous and enjoyable to speak with. I hope this company continues to grow and expand. I also hope their variety of teas continues to do that as well. ;) Looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for this local gem!

My friend and I were traveling through last month and we wanted a place to stop for a sit down…read morebefore we got back on the road for the last 1.5 hours. It took me a month to write this because it was such a terrible experience. I ordered a caramel frappe (came out chunky with ice and tasted not great). I ordered the gluten free carrot cake and cauliflower crust pizza. I tried to order the gluten free pasta beforehand but they were out of gluten free noodles. So I settled. They both tasted decent, nothing to write home about. Paid and left. When we got back home I was throwing up violently profusely as I do when I have had gluten, cross contamination offers a stomach ache and internal issues. So I knew it was gluten and not just cross contamination. While I was unwell I had my friend call and try to confirm that the items I had were gluten free as that was what I ordered and also the waitress knew I needed things gluten free. The manager got on the phone and started out the conversation with "I'm not trying to be an a$$..." great start. And then later on told us they "do not accommodate celiacs". Will never go back or recommend to others.
