Two people were kind enough to make room for me at one of the tables. I ordered an espresso and yogurt (I wanted to eat light that afternoon) which on top had fresh fruit sauce layer and on top of that broken pieces of hard caramel, not sure, but it was amazing, maybe not for my teeth. The woman across from me raved about the cheese cake, proclaiming it to be one of the best she ever had.

We had a cappuccino and chai tea latte to drink. They promptly provided water for the table. The eggs benedict with bacon and the savory pancakes were excellent. The savory pancakes had an egg and bacon on top, which was a nice added protein punch to the pancake carbs. Everything was delicious. So glad we found this place. It was a great full breakfast on our last day in Bordeaux. Enjoy!

They quickly heated it up and within 45 secs, I had cheesy goodness in my hands. I also love that they wrap it as a tent so the wrapper doesn't stick to the cheese. It's a cheap, quick, and easy snack, and while it's anathema to the French to eat while walking (lê gasp!), this is one of the few hot things you can eat while on the move. I also got their chocolate croissant and chocolate chip cookie. Both were good, though note that the cookie is really soft without much crunch to it. I don't mind my bc I like my cookies like that, but you crispy cookie monsters should take note. Someone who actually knows French could maybe ask them to heat up quickly, but alas, I could only point, smile, and eat.

I chose a meal for around 6 Euros that included a sandwich, pastry and drink. The croque poulet was excellent for a take away meal! They have breakfast, pastries, coffee and sandwiches. We ordered some Pain Au chocolate, fresh squeezed Orange Juice and a couple of Cappuccinos. I liked that the Pain Au Chocolate was warm. A good spot for a quick bite to eat before security check.

My wife did not - she just got a couple of a la carte items, and we both got a croissant. I'm going with 5 stars for a couple of reasons. One, coffee was excellent. My cappuccino was delicious, but every one of them was during this trip. Second, it's hard to find an american breakfast - it just isn't their thing. Third, the eggs and bacon were very good (but it was just scrambled eggs and bacon). Fourth, the croissant was delicious. Maybe I'm just so happy to have gotten a regular breakfast. The shop is very nice and seems like a great place to work if you need to. Its spacious and the staff was very friendly. I'd make it a stop on your trip if you plan on having breakfast that isn't just a baguette.

Flan Vanille de Tahaa (~4,50 €) - super sweet and rich, very creamy. Good, but I wish it were less sweet.
Choux Sésame & Myrtille (4,00 €) - black sesame and blueberry choux. It's OK. Choux pastry feels a bit stale. Cream is really firm.
