When I travel I always tell myself "Don't go to Starbucks "-" Drink at local coffee shops only"-but within a day or 2,I always find myself right back at Starbucks-what can I say-I'm a Starbucks guy through and through. This day was no different, after a long day at the museum of anthropology,I headed Centro Historico to get some shopping done, but needed an afternoon pick me up,so went to my trusted old friend-Starbucks in Centro Historico.
This Starbucks is in a really heavy touristy zone-a very busy street located in one of the most dense shopping areas in CDMX.So when I say the fact that they have a free super clean bathroom available is so clutch ,I truly mean it.
They also have tons of really cool pastries and sandwiches we don't have back home, though again I failed to taste any of them as I just had a super heavy meal at a Michelin rated taco shop-so no calories were left in me for sure. They did look interesting though-maybe next time.
I like that Starbucks in Mexico still take my Starbucks card that I loaded in USD back home, even though they charge in pesos,it made paying super convenient.I also liked the fact that they got my order right-whipped cream instead of milk-it makes a pretty good difference to me.
Overall this is a pretty great location-they are fast, friendly and clean-what more can you ask for whether at home or traveling abroad-Be Safe out there. read more
