However it was worth the wait because it was delicious but I if I was in a hurry I would not have been happy. I think I spent about £5 on both items so not too bad but bare in mind you do pay 40p extra if you eat in.They have a good selection of sandwiches and cakes and healthier options if you are watching the calories. This place is good for holding lunchtime meetings as you can take a seat in the corner and there are plenty of comfortable little stools to sit on so I will no doubt go back there again for some afternoon coffee.

Due to its location in the centre it is quite busy but I always found that the staff are very efficient here. I'm sure I will pop in here for a coffee to go when I am in Brent Cross. Great for getting a coffee to go if your in the centre but not worth making the extra effort for it.

When I went it was later in the evening so I was able to place my order right away. I work part time at sbux here in the states and I get a discount when I am at other stores so I asked the barista if I could still get my discount even tho I was from the states. She said she should be able to but as it turns out it would not go through. The girl said "oh that's ok, this one is on me because I want you to have a good holiday" and she rang up my drink free of charge. She really did go above and beyond because I was not demanding nor expecting a free drink just a discount. The lobby was full so I was not able to find a seat nearby with an outlet. Me and my friend decided to go over next door to the burger place instead. This is nothing against the wonderful team at sbux is just that the lobby was full. Great customer service here, would love to go back again.

A large and modern Starbucks store in St Pancras, it feels different from your usual Starbucks…read morestore as it has a good amount of seating inside and then in the railway concourse, they have some bar-style seating which I like, and the counter seems to go round in one big circle. As expected with it being London, the prices are much higher here, it seems prices can vary between around £0.05 and £1 depending on the type of drink and merchandise. The staff member who served me seemed nice, but he refused to give me the Eat Out Help Out discount which Starbucks as a whole is signed up for, even though Starbucks as a chain is listed on the website. This gives you 50% or £10 off (whichever is lower) food and drinks when eating inside as part of a scheme by Rishi Sunak and the UK government. I later found out that it is only certain stores signing up for this which makes it more confusing - I don't understand it, they have no reason not to sign up! Regardless, my beverage was pretty good, I didn't have to stir it which can be the pain especially with the new lids, I must add the new lids are great and much better than the awful paper straws, these lids have been common in the US for some time now and I'm glad they made it across the pond. 3* - One of my favourite Starbucks stores in a modern setting yet I still think the fluctuation in pricing is a big issue as well as the fact they were misguiding customers on EOHO and also breaking UK law by not asking customers to fill in contact tracing details who sit in the store.

London has more Starbucks Stores than any EU country apart from Germany (and of course the UK)…read morewhich is an impressive feat alone, over 100 of them including this one are located in Zone 1 alone - this a really interesting statistic - this branch is located on Vigo Street in Central London, fairly close to the Carnaby Street end of Oxford/Regent Street. From the outside, the store does look pretty nice, with it being in an old building which in a way reminds me of walking through the backstreets of Spain with two grand windows and a balcony above the store, which obviously aren't open to the public and I presume isn't in use today. Do bear in mind the store is accessed by two large steps only and there is no step-free way in - the nearest alternative branch if you struggle with steps would be Carnaby Street, even there you have to request a ramp however for access. The staff here seemed friendly enough - they seemed to try their best in difficult circumstances. This branch is again another one of those central London branches which charges more than the rest of the country, my Venti Vanilla Coldbrew latte here would cost £3.65 compared to the usual price of £3.20 which I feel is unacceptable especially as it seems it's becoming the norm in London compared to the rest of the country (Other brands/locations don't charge more so why should Starbucks?) Nicer than most nearby branches inside but again a limited seating - again seems to be the poor form which is common for Starbucks locations in London, bringing me to the point that I'd rather see less large branches rather than a store on every corner which charges whatever the hell they want and in many cases serving mediocre drinks and being allowed to function which is a real shame. 2*

Other than that, it's pretty small, I'm not sure that counts as a plus or a minus in this case. On the one hand it adds something vaguely resembling cosiness, but on the other there is no quiet corner where you can hide from the shrieking children. Anyway, I don't like Starbucks much - as we all know they make coffee for people who don't really like coffee. I'm also convinced they're involved in a conspiracy to make people fat by serving really big portions (once you're fat you'll need more calories to keep going, and hence need to buy more food, see?). But that's just my own personal theory.
