I was just here with a friend. Asked a simple question to the girl at the desk. Peyton. Her tone was so incredibly rude and condescending, rolled her eyes and answered back as if I'm an idiot. I simply asked "if she is paying for a trenta cup, will she get that amount of coffee?" Her response was "well obviously if she ordered a trenta it's going to be filled" and rolled her eyes, as if i am supposed to know. I felt the aggression and responded with "hey I'm just trying to ask a question" Aggressively said back "i gave you the answer you wanted didn't i?" At this point I'm baffled by the fact this girl was being so completely rude and disrespectful for no reason. Whatever is going on in her day should not be my issue. I felt completely uncomfortable with this whole situation and asked her to not talk to me that way, she said "well you can talk to my manager standing right there" laughin at me. No problem The manager Tyler, seemed as if he cared but then kept being g up that my friend has had issues in that store. Great, this is my first time being here, why should i be talked to that way? How is it ok for any staff member to speak that way. He stated he knows about my friends apparent issue, it feels as if he condoning the treatment shes been receiving and condoning this behavior towards me by association. We were told we don't have that roast available at this time. It was available in the app so they had planned to steal from us by not telling us they couldn't make our drinks. Super busy drive through. Went inside. There were lots of people inside too but it seemed that the baristas were scrambling and working hard and the line was moving pretty quickly. Placed my order. The server did not ask my name. I waited and waited and watched. Nothing. Finally went back to the lady that took my order, asked where my coffee was. They right then made it, and I finally could be on my way. I got a $6.22 Venti skinny vanilla latte with just 2 squirts of the sugar free syrup--perfectly made and delicious, but the need to go back and ask what happened to it was frustrating for me and for the folks working there. Coming back home from an overnight stay with the beau. I needed a caffeine pick me up before heading to work. They were fast and helpful and knowledgeable about their coffee and all the different types. Once I placed my order for a danish and a blonde latte. Once I pulled up to the drive thru window and they saw my puppers. They asked if he could have a doggie latte which is just a cup of whip cream and my puppers was in love. I visited two weeks ago right before all this Covid 19 stuff went crazy with some friends. While we were inside this group of guys came in and one of the guys went behind the counter and made his own drinks. He stuck hid hands in the ice box and everything. Normally I would let stuff like this go but the thing that makes me sick out of all of this is the fact that he DID NOT wash his hands before making drinks!!!!! He not only did this but he was playing behind the counter. The workers who were on duty were taking pictures and playing around while customers were waiting for their orders. I've called Starbucks and asked for the district manager to call me so they can address this situation and haven't heard anything. I would have talked to the manager on duty but honestly everyone working knew and saw what was going on. My hope with this post is that it will get attention and this situation will be addressed because this is not acceptable anywhere when working with food and drinks. read more

I visited the store 0567 on Ft Knox 1/28/23. There were three young adults working when I was in line. The poor guy at the register was helping a customer in front of me who so happened to also be an employee on break or already done with her shift. Well, everything was doing fine until this guy (supervisor I hope) came out of no where and started yelling across the place at the young man at the counter. It was inappropriate and unprofessional. The guy was doing his job. The line had grown, which is normal for Starbucks! I feel awful for this staff to have such a "team" member who is NOT a team player! For a military post, this is unacceptable! You don't know who is in line, what rank, etc. I hope the staff gets a better supervisor and this current supervisor finds a job he is better fit for! read more

Starbucks is always busy, like I've never been by a single Starbucks and have been able to order and go. Having said that, I always expect a little bit of a wait any time I go and I don't ever complain. The staff here was experiencing a longer than usual wait time and knew that ahead of time. Not only was my order made to perfection but they gave us each a $4 gift card to apologetic for the longer than usual wait time. They literally went above and beyond what was expected and I can't rave on this enough. I actually prefer this location than the others because the baristas actually know the drinks and will make them perfect every time. I've never had an issue here. read more

I love Starbucks. But the first time I came here and used their online ordering and pickup they got my order wrong. It shouldn't be that hard to read the label which was correct but my creme frap has coffee anyways. And we were late because they had to remake it. I enjoy coming in; especially to this one in E-town. The manager does a fantastic job and shows a strong personal interest in providing the best service. My one comment, and I'm finding this a systemic Starbucks thing. If I get a single or double espresso, it doesn't need to be in a double-cupped tall cup with a lid. Even when the small cups are sitting right there and I ask for it to be put in the "taster" cup (more than enough space for a double espresso, they give me a tall cup with a lid. Nothing like a good Carmel macchiato (iced or hot) or a cafe misto to get you going, and they make the best in town. While they still haven't figured out how to handle being busy, even after being open this long, a lot of it is due to the poor workflow that Starbucks sets up for their workspace. This location is the worst I've tried to buy from. I frequently travel with my family, often with a trailer or tall vehicle that cannot fit in a drive through. We use mobile ordering to facilitate. Multiple times I've shown up at this location to find a locked door and a sign saying drive up only. I tried to be patient to give them time to hire staff, but this can no longer be a legitimate excuse. If you use mobile ordering to show up and find you can't pick it up, you've already paid and are forced to wait in a drive up to get what you ordered. And that assumes your vehicle can even fit. I saw a customer walking through the drive up - because of this exact problem. This location should just close; they're unable to serve, just close. read more

This HAS to be my favorite local Starbucks in the Elizabethtown area. Their baristas are absolutely incredible. Being a crazy coffee lady myself, I can truly judge people on their skills (if only I could learn to do it myself ). Never once have I went in and they were anything less than friendly and upbeat towards my arrival. I've even come quite fond of a few employees there, and whenever I know they're behind the bar I'm going to get an even better cup. Let's talk about speed! Today was magnificent, even if I was the only one in line. Now i totally get that when there's a rush it is really hard to keep up and make everyone happy. It's clear they work as fast as they can, and lets face it they're only human, NOT robots. I'm thoroughly impressed with this staff and store. I want to say this location was very clean and everyone was working hard but both of our drinks were wrong. Ordered the salted cold foam cold brew with light soy. The gentleman started to put a bunch of soy milk in a cup, the baristas switched positions, the girl who finished my drink realized he had done that wrong and dumped that out. She made the salted cold foam with the salt packet (which I'm happy about) but the drink had no sweetener what so ever, I think they use the vanilla sweet cream along with the salt packet and I think they used the wrong one. The drink just tastes wrong. They were out of the Irish cream sweetener so we ordered the cascara cold foam, and they forgot the sweetener in that as well. Bleh. Probably going to exchange the drink at another location. :( read more
