Old Home Place is an Amish-run general grocery store, and a very nice one at that. This is one of those places that you'd drive by if you didn't know it was here ... but now that you do, do stop in. We generally travel between Chicago and Charlotte on this road, and will now add this as a required stop on the return leg. Clean bathrooms, nice people, great handmade sandwiches to-order, and all the other grocery items you'd expect at an Amish store. The closest little town is Frankfort ... so you'll have to go there for gas ... but everything else is just fine at Old Home Place. Recommended.
