Okay, I promise that this is the last Starbucks I'm going to review; but it was the last one in Cardiff city centre that had been forgotten and ignored, and my heart just went out to it, poor little tyke.
This is one of my favourite cafes because of its location and vibe. It seems to have a lot more sofas and comfy places to sit than many other cafes in the chain, and there is also a tucked away area which feels quite private. There are giant glass windows everywhere which means that you can tuck yourself away in a pod of reading or writing, while still being able to watch the world and all its people and weather go by.
The coffees here are very tasty, and the staff members are all very casual, but in a good way (apart from one blond man who does my nut in).
So, in short, a quieter Starbucks which is good for longer periods of rejuvenation. read more
