So, with me being too stubborn to go inside and order the second round of drinks that we actually wanted, we ended up wasting over thirty-five minutes of our lives waiting for a server to come outside again and ask us if we would like to order something else or get our bill. All four (!) people on staff were just inside, cleaning up and occasionally throwing a glance outside without actually ever doing anything. Now these are to of my pet peeves in the hospitality industry: not paying REAL attention to your guests and cleaning up when you're still open for business. Both things that these twats did. Our beverages were piping hot and delicious. While here we heard several different languages spoken, including Spanish. We stayed until closing, at which time the manager offered us a cup of coffee to go. Wonderful way to avoid waste and make customers feel special. It was a nice way to stay warm a bit longer.
