I've came to this Starbucks a few times and always had a good experience. I always place a mobile order for pick up in the restaurant vs drive thru as the drive thru line is always a mess and chaotic. It's way easier to just park and walk in, and quicker too. They always have my order ready for me on the mobile order pick up station by the time I arrive, and my food is always still nice and hot. They never make any mistakes either. This Starbucks is a huge fail today. I have the SB app on my phone and am a customer. SB has always comped tap water. I explained at the counter that I was late to a blood test appt and had not drank enough water so went to my SB,which was on the way, and asked for a cup. I was told with some attitude that they would not give a cup or any tap water without a purchase (I would have taken it from the bathroom sink seeing they were so stingy). There was a long line, too and even if I had the time to wait for a drink and I had to take the test fasting- so I couldn't buy any "fun" drinks. Today, SB was definitely not my third place: Starbucks' "third place" concept refers to the idea of creating a space, beyond home and work, where people can gather, relax, and connect. SB you let down a thirsty senior over a charity cup of water and you just lost a lifelong customer. BTW, I flunked my test and had to wait an additional 30 minutes to hydrate. But I am sure that sneering barista and register lady doesn't care. This SB has no heart for a dehydrated old lady. read more

It's fairly close to the gym I go to, so win win situation. The employees are always smiling and are so happy being there. The service is fast even though they are almost always busy. Their drive thru option is always great when your running low. My go to drink is the hot matcha latte. They make it just right and is highly enjoyable. Majority of the time this is all I need. Being in holiday season you can try their in season drinks. I would like to recommend toffee nut crunch latte, which is rich and creamy. Side Note- Located right beside Tide cleaners. Ordered food online. Asked for it when I came in 8:37 said it was coming. Waiting until 9:05 to ask again. They say "oh yea it's right here" grab it from the drive thru. Every single thing I ordered is cold. Y'all weren't even busy and had 8 employees working. no one wants cold food and coffee. Not one staff member greeted anyone walking in the door. My wife and I used to be loyal customers of this store in N. Boca Raton (6959 N Military Trail). However, we will be moving to the Dunkin Donuts store just around the corner off Clint Moore for three primary reasons. 1. The walk in order service at the store has become ridiculously slow. 2. The product quality in the store has become non-differentiated, and in some cases at a lower level, than we can get at the DD store (and I might add at a lower price). 3. The drive through line is misdirected, and sometimes causes verbal and physical altercations (I am not kidding about this!) . We have been going to the north Boca location for over a decade (even when the store was located one shopping center up the road) and long for the "old days" when Starbucks used to pride itself on quality, both in customer service, as well as, product preparation. Without getting into too much detail, let me cite the following facts: A typical drive thru experience, for as dangerous as it is, is extremely efficient - usually less than five minutes,.... however, a walk in customer frequently has to wait over fifteen minutes to get an over-the-counter order, and it often comes out in stages, ...cold or otherwise prepared inaccurately, under-overcooked, or just mis-proportioned (witness the picture of the watered-down oatmeal we were served, after waiting (I am not exaggerating this) for over 20 minutes!  Moreover, today we had to wait another 20 plus minutes for a simple order of a heated croissant, an iced tea, and a cold brew.   And these all came out in stages.. the heated croissant came out first.. and was obviously cold before we could enjoy it with our beverages. This is a shame, as once "going to Starbucks" meant a pleasurable, in-store experience.  We didn't mind paying a premium for premium products and premium service.  I realize favoring the "drive-thru" over the over-the-counter orders is much more profitable and most likely higher volume, but I am saddened about this situation.. and the two things that separated Starbuck's product from DD was customer service and quality.  At this location, those two product differentiations no longer exist. read more

Not only is this one of the most insanely dirty Starbucks, with trash on the ground, machines covered in coffee grounds and dust, sides of them splattered with stuff that's never been taken off, but the level of service disorganization is kind of staggering. Phone orders were piled up, but only one barista bothered calling them out. Then, to add a bit of insult to my visit, I was sipping my cappucino when something hard and sharp headed for the back of my throat. I ended up coughing it out, but WTH! How, with UPSIDE DOWN CUPS, does debris of that size get accidentally (hopefully) dropped into your $4+ cap? Trash on the ground. Trash overflowing. Dirty, dirty, dirty. I just increased my rating of Starbucks. Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino has become my Covid-19 comfort food. Partly because it is the only place where I feel safe eating out. This location has a drive through. For the most part, service is great. I love the Starbucks app. It is a marketing scheme; but it has worked with me. I collect stars and have been rewarded with many free drinks. I tried pre-ordering with the app; but that was a failure. I didn't want to go inside the store because of Covid-19; so I waited in the drive through line. Once I received my order; the whip cream had melted and they forgot to put on the carmel. The ly put on the wrong cap. I didn't go back to complain because I had already wasted too much time waiting. Moral of the story...I you are going to wait on the drive through line; don't bother pre-ordering. For the most part, I am very satisfied with the service. I usually don't purchase food at Starbucks. I think it is expensive for what you get. This location is one of the better ones because they have drive through. It is really busy. Prepare to wait. The employees are super nice. There are a few Starbucks near my office, but I usually come here because it's on my way to the bank. It's located in a small and very busy plaza, so parking has always been an issue coming here. However, this place seems nice and clean. The line is usually not very long because the staff was able to get the orders out pretty quickly. In turns of the drinks, well, a Starbucks is a Starbucks, they all tasted exactly the same everywhere. I usually order a tall Pike and I'll get a cappuccino for my co-worker and she seems to enjoy them. To the folks who own the SBUX stocks, I'd suggest you keep them! read more

Wow, I just love drive throughs, especially at Starbucks & especially on a rainy morning. Although this brand new store is conveniently located, the drive through is a bit tricky. They are connected next to Tide Dry Cleaners & Tide offers a valet drop/pick up area. Do you see where I'm going with this? Yes, on my first visit I wound up at Tide & they instructed me (I'm sure they thought I was crazy) to the Starbucks drive through which was only 4 feet away. Just be aware of this when you pull into the parking lot. I know it's not a big deal, but I was very confused on my 1st visit. But then it doesn't take much to confuse me these days, lol. Have you tried the Bantam Bagel Bites? These mini cream cheese stuffed bagels are delicious. They come in 2 packs & are available in three varieties. Sorta shaped like a larger DD munchkin, these treats make a quick breakfast or lunch & I admit, I did eat them for dinner one night last week. Don't judge me b4 you taste them because they are a perfect quick meal. The French Toast bagel bite is very sweet & not my thing, BUT the Everything bagel bite is stuffed with veggie cream cheese & these are great!!! They do offer a plain bagel bite that is good too, but the Everything veggie is my go-to. The Bantam Bagel Bites are toasted as ordered, so my advice is to WAIT a few minutes before biting into one. They are very hot & the cream cheese filling will ooze out. This happened to me & not only did I make a mess, but I burnt my tongue!!! I have only used the drive through a few times & on each visit I was warmly greeted & had spectacular customer service. They perfected my custom made frappacino, even with my multiple substitutions, they nailed it. I am so glad they relocated here from the strip center next door. I love it. Brand new Starbucks, yet to be overrun by legions of free WiFi hogs and sloppy bathroom goers. And there's a drive thru! Hooray. The place is honestly a joy to have a cup of coffee in. If there are any criticisms it's that the parking situation is awful. There's just a few spots out front and the rest is reserved for the laundromat. You basically have to drive around the building and park near the drive thru window. All in all, nice Starbucks branch, notably better than the now closed previous location down the street. read more

The holiday flavors are out and I got to try one. Clyde and I both got the Caramel Brûlée Latte. I ordered my coffee hot and Clyde got his coffee cold. We tried each other's drink. They were both delicious, but I think the cold latte was a little richer and more like dessert. Although the hot drink was perfect since it was a chilly evening. There are several other holiday flavors and my goal is to try each one. This Starbucks has a drive through window which was very convenient. The lady at the window was very friendly. Even though she was wearing a face mask I could tell she was smiling. 2020 holiday coffee flavors include Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brûlée Mocha, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Eggnog Latte. I went there this morning for a cup of ice and water with star berry and pineapple inclusions. It's Starbucks so it's a given that the fruit inclusions would not be free. I've been paying at every other Starbucks I've been to with no problems. However at this particular one, the girl charged me for a "custom latte". So instead of the $1.71 I normally pay with is for the fruit I paid $7.54.... I paid 7 whole dollars for two scoops of dried fruit in water? Definitely the worst location I've ever been to... and I love Starbucks and frequent it when I'm not making my own. I don't live in the area but my family does and I've only gone to this specific location a few times and it's NEVER been good. My younger sister wanted to get holiday drinks so we decided to go. We got a few drinks for the family. The first drink came out with a clear marking for an iced drink and it was hot. We quickly let the barista know and she said "oh" and went to change it. We got our drinks and got back on the road. My sister was quiet as she doesn't like to say when things are bad but I took a drink of mine (which was hot so I waited a little) and it was horrible. I don't like sugary drinks but the sugar cookie latte is just so good and mine was legit just coffee with milk. As soon as I said something, my sister goes try mine (ginger bread latte). I almost spit all over my car. Didn't even taste like coffee... more like watery milk. It was really gross. I didn't bother to give my family their coffees and just tossed them (after ensuring they were all gross too... REALLY GROSS). We just said 'the line was too long so we didn't go...' As someone who is currently a barista, I feel like the workers at this location either get no training or don't use any syrups?? The drinks are always so bland or coffee-less. The people who work here are very nice. Sadly, it is mismanaged. You never know when they are open. Several times I've gone to get coffee at 3:00 PM only to find them closed. Yesterday I tried to use the app to order it said not taking orders at this time. They need a new manager. Although the Starbucks on Linton, in delray is a little further, I've been going there. Their drive thru is operational. Why have an app and drive thru if it's not working? Several times I've gone to the drive thru on Military and V Clint Moore and a sign says we are closed today at 3:00 pm. One time they closed at noon. Sign on window...no explanation. Two days In a row I've had a horrible experience! I love Starbucks but recently this location has been slacking. the first time i ordered two Irish cold brews extra sweet cream... It came out practically black & tasted horrible! Second time I come & i order bacon egg bites. We get up to the front of the line ready to grab our Food & she says let me check if we have it after we were already charged. Comes back & try's to give us a salad. we have to remind her again "no we ordered bacon egg bites." she returns with the WRONG egg bites I realized after we had already left the plaza. I've been to probably over 200 different Starbucks locations, and I had to go out of my way to write a review for this location and their phenomenal barista, Cami. All the staff here are great, my girlfriend and I are vegan and sometimes we don't have the greatest experience/interaction with baristas, but Cami went above and beyond to make us feel warm and welcome and made perfect iced espresso with almond milk drinks as well, and always does the same every time we go back.
