Out of the two Starbucks locations in Bergen this is my favourite. It's not very big, but it feels very open and bright with the floor to ceiling windows.
Even though it's in the city centre you can usually find somewhere to sit.
The staff are typical Starbucks baristas, all are very polite and service minded. I often get my drink delivered to my table if it's a quiet time of day.
The drink menu is the typical European Starbucks menu, and the selection of non-coffee drinks isn't as good as in North America. The food menu is quite different from other countries, but you'll find your typical cakes, cookies and pre-made sandwiches, just not the pre-packaged ones you'll find in other countries.
Prices may seem high for foreigners, but it's all typical Norwegian prices. Around 50kr for a venti coffee or cold drink, and 50-80kr for a sandwich.
They also sell a few cups and a few types of coffee, but it's not the best selection in the country. If you're there for cups and mugs, go to the other location in town. read more
