To top it off, the super friendly barista graciously gave me a bit of history about the bank and area! I definitely recommend for visitors and locals alike!

I got the "Mikayla", which was a latte with maple, cinnamon, vanilla, and cupcake cold foam. I had an extra shot of espresso with it. I asked for it less sweetened, and it was honestly still too sweet, but the flavors were good. My biggest complaint is always when coffees taste like "burnt cigarette". This one didn't! I was ecstatic. We also got a plain latte with cold brew and it was fantastic as well. This was smooth, fantastic tasting coffee. It wasn't bitter or sour our pungent. Just perfect.

I haven't found many standout places. Until today! I'm visiting Lafayette and after a quick search, found Reve. I ordered a medium caramel and vanilla iced latte and added cold foam. I don't know any details of how anything was made, but it was so perfect. I'm a chronic never finisher of coffee, but I had to slow myself down to keep from finishing it within a couple minutes. The cold foam wasn't sweetened, which worried me, but after swirling it all together, it was just the perfect latte. The syrups didn't have any of the ickyness you sometimes find (maybe they're house made? I didn't ask) and the cold foam made for the most perfect consistency. I'm no coffee purist, but if you like a yummy drink that I don't think was over the top sweet, this was an amazing order! History: My parents had 2 homes; one @ South Crowley & one @ Intracoastal City, so I frequented Robie's for decades. I can hear my late Mom: "Son, when you get to Robie's, get me a small sack of yellow onions. Ask the butcher to split & season 3 small fryers for our BBQ tomorrow." Champagne's Robie's is still mostly called "Robie's" by many of us. They now carry multiple frozen products from local food companies like "LENA'S" & "Ouida's".
