Great find and about a 10 min walk from our hotel (AC Firenze Hotel if you cut through the open…read morewalkway next to the bus stop). The owner spoke english and was super friendly. Our bread was made fresh and we let the owner decide as to what toppings we should add to our sandwich. I got mine spicy (turned out to be the perfect amount of spice), with the beef, lettuce/tomatoes, yogurt, baba ganoush, zucchini, eggplant, crispy onions and the spicy red sauce. It all melded together perfectly! Not to mention, the price is great -only 5 euros for a sandwich + drink (esp. considering the sandwich is so huge that 2 people could probably share one). Good place to check out when you're taking a break from all the Italian restaurants nearby.

We got the kebab wrap that is made with chicken meat, fries, your selection of veggies inside (ie: lettuce, tomato, onions), and choice of tzatziki and/or chili sauce. Very good wrap. Their veggie samosas were very good as well dipped in the chili sauce. Look at the menu carefully. There is a picture of a set on the bottom, but the obvious price is just for the a la carte item. There's a small extra charge price for the combo/set that's not super obvious. Overall very good choice for a fast and cheap late night option.

The first time I came I got the shawarma platter and it was way too much food but still a great value at under €10. The chicken here is flavorful and juicy which some kebab places struggle with cooking on a rotating spick. The chicken shawarma was accompanied with fries and vegetables in a fresh pita with delicious white sauce. If you're staying in bologna and get tired of the wonderful Italian food or want a cheap alternative, then this is definitely the place to go. You can tell it's great by the number of university students eating there at all hours of the day and night.
