On June 5 2022 I signed an agreement for solar installation which should have been completed on July 29 and paid $5,500 initial payment. Two weeks after completion date they showed up and did couple hours work and took $5,500 payment totaling $11,000, after about two more weeks same thing few more hours of electrical work. After this I kept getting excuse after excuse why they could not show up on scheduled dates (employees being seek, on vacation, hot weather, cold weather, car broke down, delay on prior job, delay on some product, you name it all the excuses that you can think) . Each time it would take several calls and texts to owner and office before to get a response. They kept making promises to show up but did not. Now 2,5 months pass I keep calling and calling and they finally show up and according to them finished electrical work. And again new dates for panel installation and new sets of no show and new sets of lies. The owner keeps lying and saying that they will show up today , tomorrow but now it is 3,5 months delayed and the owner does not respond anymore and the office answers the phone only when I call from random numbers but does not give any solid answer, They just say we can take a message and call you back which Never ever happens. The owner David at first seamed nice guy but after payments and numerous texts all I get from him lies and ignorance, same with office workers they just give you same lies. If the company will respond to this review that they have solved the issue or they can not find me in their customer base it is just another lie. I will update my review if the job ever gets completed and now I am going to file small court complaints. I also filed a complain with BBB, check it yourself they now have 13 complains in last 12 months. At this point I start to believe that they believe in their own lies. Third payment is when it is panel ready, which is not done. Please see attached pictures of the roof and screen shot of their website which also shows that Panel is NOT completed, so I am not behind on any payment, it is just another lie. So this is very weird. I have had Star Enrg install two systems for me, one in Northern Delaware one at our Rehoboth Property. I write a positive review about this company and two days later it disappears? They have installed a few systems in our community in Rehoboth and we are very happy with our solar project. I am going to have them also post reviews. I see a photo from one of my neighbors home's on this yelp page, so I am guessing the same is happening to him. Feel free to message me. I have never had this on any restaurant reviews. The strangest part is the two other negative reviews have never posted additional reviews. I am going to go check the rest of my foodies.
