Half the time I end up chatting to the assistant for twenty minutes while she runs through the various products that suit what I'm after. The scripts also get filled pretty fast. If it's not busy, it can be as little as two or three minutes! How fast is that?!? They also have some great little gift ideas for those people that you have to buy an xmas present for, but you have no idea what to get them.

On top of all the usual discounted products, there is a row of further marked down items as you wind your way along the checkout line. This chemist is particularly good for brand label fragrances at prices even cheaper than Duty Free. Always pick up a catalogue as you walk in to browse through current sales. If like me, you buy a lot of supplements, you probably won't find them cheaper anywhere else and they have a huge range to choose from which is really impressive. If you are female, I dare you to go in here and not buy anything.

Prescriptions are promoted as being 50% cheaper and they also have two other big claims. 'Australia's cheapest chemist' and 'Never be beaten on price'. The prescription I just had filled was cheaper than usual and there were discount stickers on products across the store. There is a clear system for dropping off, collecting and paying for prescriptions which allows them to deal with a lot of people in a fluid manner. It's fun browsing here as the range is huge. Vitamins, supplements, perfume, dental, haircare, makeup, first aid and so much more. It's so busy that I just recommend not going in if you've got a headache, unless of course you're going to buy a headache remedy - they've got plenty of those!

The staff are friendly and helpful, and they seem to be everywhere so you're not standing there for ages waiting to be served. I used to buy Paw Paw lip balm from here all the time because they sell it slightly cheaper than other places, and when you're using a product all the time it adds up. The service is good, helpful staff and there's this one guy who is always cheery and cracking jokes. I haven't seen him for a while though, hmmm. Another plus: it's situated smack bang in Rundle Mall. Very convenient in my uni days.

Welcome to my afternoon a few weeks back, where I was trying my hardest to convince pharmacies around Adelaide that I didn't want to set up a meth lab, I just wanted my nose to stop running. Enter Goodwood Day Night Chemmart - an absolute life saver. After calling about 5 pharmacies (and one hospital) this chemist asked me for the name of the drug on my script, and how many I was after (just 12) and went to go look in there store. Thankfully they had one packet left and it was definitely worth the tram ride to go pick them up. Everyone in the chemist was helpful, and they fixed everything up nice and quickly for me. I've been in here a few times before when I lived around the corner, and I've never had any issues. The store might be a bit smaller than some chemists, so you won't get the full range of all of your products, but they seem to stock all the essentials.
