I went here today to observe a class for school - and this place is in a very odd location. It is in a shopping center next to Bonefish Grill, Starbucks, Wing Stop and other stores... I guess that is the new thing now these days to have preschools in shopping centers because I see them popping up all over. I tried walking in and both doors were locked, which is a great sign because not just any one can walk in, and no kid can walk out. When the secretary let me in she was very friendly, and greeted me and remembered my name and that I was coming in today. She showed me the classroom I would be in, and introduced me to the two teachers I would be observing. The two teachers were very sweet, and on top of everything. The classrooms are very colorful, have the students work on the walls, reminders for parents - allergy list - birthday - ABC's - 123 - the works, and this was all in jungle themed. Super cute! The structure of the classroom was fabulous, the teachers, and other staff was fabulous, and the kiddies by the end got me to help them play dress up and put a tiara on my head. If I had a child I would definitely place them in this preschool because of the many activities they do, and how the teachers interact with the students. =]

I was so pleased with the teacher!! Very attentive and caring towards the children. My child was a crier. Every time I walked in she was walking around holding her hand. While tending to other children. Made sure that my child was not sitting alone crying. In about a week my child was done with the crying and enjoying herself. A little happy hippo! LOL

I loved the teachers and the principal was always on point on academic issues. I am rating it a four because the school is small, not enough space for a cafeteria so the kids eat cold foods most of the time, I send my daughter to school with her lunch. Also, the size of classrooms are small since they are portables and do not have a school building. More kids are being accepted every year and it can be pretty packed. Also, because of this events such as field day are held at nearby parks. I would be happier with the school once a building comes up and they have a cafeteria.

(That says a lot because my son is picky with people) Everyone was beyond supportive and I'm so happy with my decision to have him here. I would definitely recommend Bright Futures to everyone!!! He has learned so much during his time here and I have them to thank. His teacher Mrs. Osmaida and the director Cristina Sardinas are amazing people...as well as all the other teachers and staff. My wife and I visited many preschools in the Kendall area before deciding on Bright Futures. We…read morepicked it because we felt it was the most nurturing out of all of them. In addition the owners (great women) are also certified teachers. My sone was there from 3 years old to pre-K4. He left BF reading and writing and was ahead of most kids when he got to Kindergarten (at another school). When It was time for my daughter to go we sent her there for a couple of years (1-3), but decided to move her to my son's school (for convenience only) for prek-4. TERRIBLE DECISION!! She received nowhere near the level of education at her current school, than what she could have received at Bright Futures. We have some friends and family with small children, and when they ask about preschools, I ONLY RECOMMEND Bright Futures. It is a wonderful, nurturing, and well organized school. Your kids will benefit from this experience immensely.

My son began at ORA in August 2018. By December 2018, he had had enough. He literally screamed…read moreand cried anytime the car approached the preschool. The owner claimed to not know why he had this reaction and when asked, he would only say "the teachers were mean to him". We withdrew him immediately and the owner (Kristen) hounded me for another month's worth of tuition, which I reluctantly paid her (I now wish I hadn't). Jump forward a year and Henry started K this week. He had the same reaction as we tried to bring him to class each morning - until he learned that not all teachers or schools are "mean". It took 4 heartbreaking days of screaming and crying to overcome his experience at ORA. Thankfully, he seems better now. In talking with other parents recently, I've heard similar stories. I've also heard that all or part of the staff at ORA was replaced in early 2019 - I don't know the reason why. In doing some research on my own, I've also learned that Kristen was charged by the Broward Sheriffs Office in 2013 with 1 count of welfare fraud, a 3rd degree felony, and arrested on that charge in 2017. The case was disposed of in 2018 with a plea of no-contest (Broward Case#: 17008520CF10A). I wish I had that information before enrolling my son at ORA. Amusingly, their website touts criminal background checks on all employees. I'm sure there are good stories about ORA but all I can do is share mine with the hope that others benefit from it. I paid way too much money for the outcome of a 5yo who thinks school is a scary place.

I noticed on their website they had a special going on so I called them to verify, the women I spoke to told me that yes that special was accurate and they would value my sons enrollment at that price. She took down my information and told me she would get back to me the following day. No one got back to me for the rest of the week, I waited till Friday thinking they may be busy wasn't worried since they already had my information for the enrollment, but when I reached out to them on Friday they told me that offer was no longer valuable and they couldn't do anything about it that was a special that was on but now taken off. They told me the person I spoke to misinformed me. I think they handled the situation very unprofessionally as I had already spoke to someone about it and they were suppose to get back to me to began the enrollment process. Had they handled it differently I would have still signed my son up, but I don't want him somewhere where they don't care about taking care of their future clients or even keep their word.

My brother chose this as the place for his daughter's 2nd Birthday, and it was a hit! Many places that have children's parties only focus on a particular age group leaving the others out. At recent birthday parties past, I have just had to sit with my baby and entertain him by myself while the rest of the children and their parents are able to participate in the party festivities and activities. At Jumping Jelly Beans this was not the case as there are toys and activities with an array of ages in mind. Even for my 8 mo. old. (According to the person at the desk, the beginning age is 6 months.) The main room is separated into 3 sections. There is a place for babies in the front where there are plenty of floor mats and floor toys for crawlers. My son was immediately drawn to a musical toy that was similar to one that we have at home. There is a plastic playhouse in the shape of a tree that has fun touch and feel activities on the outside, and a small slide for little ones going out, cars to ride or be pushed in around the facility, and a baby swing. There are several imagination stations equipped with dolls and toys for playing doctor or house. In the center there is a ball pit that is out in the open just in case you need to pull your little one out. There is a place for dancing and bubble blowing and some organized activities as well as another section that contains a big jungle gym for older children to climb on and slide down. There is a also a private room for food, beverages, and cake. The room is bright and airy and is able to be decorated with whatever your theme may be. It is furnished with tables and chairs specifically for children. There is also a sink in the room and tables to place drinks on and all of the food for your party. The room is kept up by Jumping Jelly Beans personnel, and is never overly messy or disorganized. At the end of the party, the staff cleaned everything up even folding posters.
