First, I know for a fact, that some parents are glued to those cameras everyday, and call the school for any unimportant reason, affecting the work the staff does. Secondly, the parents that are upset for this, need to grow up and understand that when their children leave Cadence Academy for any other school, there won't be any cameras, so, what are they going to do then? Not take their kids to school? It's just ridiculous. Lastly, I have to say that I don't care about the cameras, because I have an immense amount of trust in the staff, who have always been great to me and my daughters and, my girls have done great too. I have nothing but good things to say about Cadence Academy Doral. To the parents that are upset about the cameras, I would recommend, that If you can't find something better to do with your life, than being stuck to a screen, watching a camera all day, you should reconsider your life choices, and if you don't trust a school that has such a great staff of loving and caring people, then you should maybe try homeschooling, you already seem to have enough time to waste.

This was the result of the superior and very aggressive curriculum at WOKA - in VPK, he had already finished the Kinder curriculum, and as such was more prepared than probably any other student at the new school. He was accused of working too fast then being disruptive, etc. It was especially troubling because he was NEVER a nuisance in his whole little life!!!! I was miserable, and he was too. I pulled him out and brought him back to WOKA, and as a testament to how much I believe in your school, GLADLY paid full price for his education... a worthy investment. I returned with tears in my eyes, and Adelina welcomed us back with open arms, and immediately, my son was back in an environment where he could flourish and TRULY be cared for. I cannot thank the teachers Yanay, Suzy, Danihela, the aftercare girls, and this year's teacher Adelpha for loving my son - not just educating, but truly caring for him. Since he has been back, Adelpha even transformed my leftie's writing as well, from highly unorganized, to very very neat. WOKA welcomed me from day 1, and we will both miss you next year. RSV (out of the 8 babies 5 were out sick with RSV in February) also sick with Hands, foot and mouth disease with high fevers, also sick with ear infections twice since the teacher would take the kids out in the cold with no sweater. My son is a baby, from Miami...not Alaska, and out in the 60s during a cold front, my husband found the kids with the teacher outside and no sweater. WHO would do that? Kids corner school does!! so they really have no consideration for the health of your baby. So he got sick again and no call or message from the school to check in on how the baby was doing. I used to drop off my son and notice how other babies looked really sick, I mean green stuff coming out of their nose and into their mouth, and I would point it out... and next thing you know... my baby is sick because they fail to inspect babies that are sick and accept them in and then your entire family is sick We were paying 1500 dollars a month for having the baby sick all the time. They also will charge you 10 dollars if you drop off you kid 1 minute earlier than the allowed 8:25am drop off. They are a disaster!! Also, the teachers speak NO English at all, so you better speak Spanish pretty well if you wanna communicate anything to them. And I mean... absolutely NO English. My son is a baby, so maybe that's why the teachers are not required to speak any English.

My daughter comes from a daycare where she was more than a year, without any inconvenience, and NOT special treatment was required because she is NORMAL and I simply decided to change her to another place so that she had another experience, that was the worst decision we ever made. This lady is NOT qualified to handle/ownership a preschool, she does not have LOVE for the kids or VOCATION. To start my daughter has no severe diagnosis, no cognitive delay, is simply receiving therapies because she had to be operated on the ears and obviously does not speak yet, but is a normal girl, with normal behavior and development and according to their age. It was a very bad decision on my part to have enrolled her in that daycare and not pay attention to the previous reviews. When I went to pick up my daughter immediately after being rejected (it was not even 3 hours in charge of the teachers) the girl did not want to fall asleep and apparently that was what upset them, obviously the girl has the routine of taking bottle and pacifier before sleeping, when i received her bag the bottle was intact and the pacifier was never given to her, that's why my daughter bothered them, because it was the first day, she was just beginning to adapt and they did not follow the guidelines that my husband and i told both teachers that same day in the morning. This institution is not a REGGIO EMILIA, do not waste your money there, it is simply a place where they take care of children, but they are not interested at all for their emotional development or learning. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the daycare is clean. Previously had my baby with a private nanny but chose daycare as my hours changed and never thought he would get as good care as with the nanny but this daycare is small and personal and you get to know everyone quickly. They take very good care of my child and I feel my child is in good hands. It's not like other daycare's with 100 children to one teacher. More attention is paid to the baby here. Would highly recommend.

She has given us plenty of great tips on how to support our son through various challenges. She is a professional you can trust every step of the way. I really appreciate that the school has a strong value system, so kindness and respect are truly FELT in the classrooms. My son is quite sensitive, so it was precious to have peace of mind and know that he feels safe at school. Last but not least, the school administration has been very responsive and forthcoming to meet all our needs. This kind of flexibility and personal approach is impossible to find anywhere else from my experience. I highly recommend Village Montessori to parents that are looking for excellent early education.
