He's also doing very well with CVC words and scored highly on the Florida VPK assessments, which really shows how well they prepare the children for kindergarten. The staff in the front office are just as amazing they know not only my child's name, but also his siblings who don't even attend the school. That personal touch means so much. When I questioned this, I was met with dismissiveness and conflicting information. I later confirmed -- through the parent group chat -- that I was misled about the nature of the email distribution. Instead of owning the error, the director chose to deflect. Even more concerning, Ms. Rodriguez has attempted to tell parents we are not allowed to discuss issues with the school in our WhatsApp group chat -- a platform completely unaffiliated with the school. This attempt to silence feedback only adds to the feeling that leadership is more focused on controlling perception than actually resolving concerns. After raising my concerns via email, I was also blocked from viewing the school's Instagram Stories -- a move that felt retaliatory and unprofessional. Additionally, despite respectfully requesting that all communication remain in writing, one of the school's owners refused and insisted on a phone call. When I declined for documentation purposes, I was dismissed and never contacted again. Another owner, the Principal of Pinecrest Glades Academy, never responded to my message at all. It also appears that Ms. Rodriguez may be attempting to downplay or hide issues from other families -- potentially due to the fact that her own child attends the school. This presents a troubling conflict of interest, especially when decisions and communication seem more focused on image management than transparency or child well-being. This is not the type of leadership I expect from an educational institution. Parents deserve accountability, open communication, and professionalism -- not censorship, avoidance, and retaliation. Trust me, you'll get a reminder two weeks ahead of payment due. They staff up the class to its full capacity and not enough teachers. My daughter has been sick every week since enrolled, Monday through Friday. I send her healthy on Monday morning, and by Tuesday, she's sick. Since first month, my daughter was enrolled, she went part time, and I'd pick her up at least 2 or 3 hours ahead of time, and I informed the director that one day I would be late to pick her up by 10 minutes that they found a lump in me that I needed to get checked. My husband picked my daughter up 10 minutes past the deadline, and I received a bill. Every month they have you provide donations on behalf of the school, so they can get credit. My daughter is an only child and contracted on her first week being there on 8/20/15 hand, foot, mouth disease. I did not receive one call to pick her up. When I arrived to pick her up, I was told to take her to the doctor. On four occasions after, she's had a fever of 103, at daycare and there wasn't any medicine administered to her. They mentioned that they didn't feel her that warm. The last straw, was Tuesday, 5/31/16, my daughter went to school and my father went to visit at 9 am, they told him she wasn't available. That same day I went to pick her up, and noticed a terrible rash all over her body. When I asked, they told me that 4 other kids have contracted it in the class last week, and that the Director Lucia Sousa, will not let my child return without a doctor's note. I went to speak to the director and ask why no one called me, why no one told my father especially since he had visited that day, and Mrs. Sousa was too concerned with making copies of checks (since it's pay day for her, because parents must pay a week prior). My daughter has been out for the last 3 days of school and not one teacher or director has called. Today, my husband went to pick up her items, and the director has the audacity to ask for June's payment that is due for next week. To Kiddie College of South Miami, you are just a number. There is no personal attention. You have been warned. I can furnish copies of all incidents from her doctor.

This year there have been zero field trips even though they were promised. Instead of taking kids to a museum tour as a field trip,they invite you(it's optional activity)to bring your kids on the weekend for a museum tour and charge you like 60$ per ticket.Ridiculous. Christmas party that was planned for a while was basically a bounce house. Other important thing,they are short on staff. The pictures of daily kids activities are posted on the app not very often.For that I don't blame the teacher(my kid teacher is great by the way,knowledgeable,passionate and caring and we really like her),but she is by herself most of the times so obviously can't do everything.
