I love Dr. Adesina, however the front desks inability to answer the phone at any attempt at trying…read moreto call them, makes it really hard to be able to continue being a patient with the clinic, as Ive had to go 3 days without receiving my refill prescription because again-- they really very seldom pick up the phone. Their organization is not the greatest either, as I was finally able to get through to them yesterday, I was told I would receive my prescription refill today-- and to put it lightly, I'm now on 4 days without my daily prescription that is quite dangerous to stop taking, and as of right now, I have been on the line, listening to their line ring for 14 minutes and 27 seconds, to be exact. I guess I will just deal with the life threatening side effects? To make matters worse, this has been a recurring issue, I try to actively avoid visiting my family doctor because I'm very very limited for time as I seldom get days off in the week, and it's just usually more stressful trying to get through of book an appointment, that I avoid it all together. unfortunately I am likely going to have to look for a new family clinic for my family, despite our love for Dr. Adesina. Absolutely nothing I've been back and forth, runaround I broke my ankle and had experimental surgery, broke in seven places six pins, a plate and a screw. Limited mobility, I have synthetic bone , I can't walk the same. I have a bad limp I can't do the same type of work and the doctor there ran me around like A heard of cattle in out might as well brand me, and say go ,wait in their overcrowded stuffy, waiting room. A few hours God bless they call your name to one of the room s won't fill out paperwork because he knows you got to keep coming back. You're literally just a meal ticket for him. There's other doctors there that are near as bad I'm sure if I seen them this wouldn't of happened to me the doctor that I seen was not aware of my condition at all and for the work that I did hurt me so now my limp is worse I have balance issues. When you have a booking system and you book someone in the time they are booked for it is their time. I could care less about walk-ins! Book time slots and then allow opening in between for walk-ins if another time appointment is slated for next then they are next. As I have very complex health problems I needed a family doctor. I was fortunate enough to get to be Dr Botha at Santimed to be my family doctor. I am that person who can write the uncommon side effects warnings on medication. It is a case of that is not supposed to happen and then surprise it happens to me. Dr Botha really goes out of his way to help. Unfortunately he is also part of the Alberta Health system, so even if he wanted to he can't just jump the line with referrals, he has to follow the rules set by Alberta Health. In the more than 20 years I had been living in Calgary, I have learned that the politicians that control Alberta Health haven't got the faintest idea of medicine. They are merely a lot of politicians, who are trying their best to sound important, but only goes on to complicate even the simplest, most cost efficient solution, with so much rules that medicine becomes a very expensive, time consuming circus of expense.

An hour and a half goes by and I say hello It's been over the hour you said when am I being called? And she said there are still two clients ahead of me! I say this is crazy and how is there no priority over a pretty urgent medical issue and ppl coming in for doctors appointments and then she starts raising her voice and yelling at me in the office. I had a Pap test at 12:45, arrived at 12:44 the guy at the front checked me in right away and took me to the back to take my blood pressure, height and weight then pointed to the room at the front and said wait there. ( THE ENTIRE TIME HE LOOKED ANNOYED AND HAD THE NASTIEST ATTITUDE) I sat there for over 30 minutes then Dr Nisha came in and saw me and said " oh you're here?" I was like what do you mean? I've been waiting on you for over 30 minutes. She said oh they marked you as no show. How is he going to mark me as no show when he literally checked me in, took my BP, height and weight? She then said oh I have another patient you're going to have to wait. Likeeeeee??On top of that, the guy at the front desk is very rude and clearly hates his job . If you can avoid this clinic plsss do so. There are a lot more clinics in Calgary that are welcoming and will respect you and your time.
