Without getting into details I'll just say that he'll say things that don't make sense, treat you like you're not worth talking too as if you're too stupid or are maybe just lying for no reason, and get angry with you just for being there. He seems to not want to have patients, which suits me as I would not see him again.

As a mature student in psychology and a counsellor I was appalled by his behaviour and negligence. ......his statement ..... that a family doctor was warranted for a neck injury due to a car accident was the only thing he said that was completely within reason. He told me " this is how you find a family dr ..... you get in your car and drive around until You find a family doctor!! " He was too busy with Vietnamese patients he said and didn't have time to investigate my concern. I asked for an X-ray and he told me why bother? Logically a family doctor can be found by calling the college of physicians ..... which I should have enlightened him about! Having worked for many drs in my past. The college of physicians is also where you can make complaints regarding DOCTOR's behaviour. When I indicated my neck injury gave me chronic headaches that I dealt with for years and were now increasing..... his response was that an MRI would tell me nothing ....an x-ray would tell me nothing ....I "probably" just had arthritis and I likely wouldn't be doing anything about it so why bother with any of it????? I'm 50 .... Not 20, health concerns may very well have been a concern but I would never know given the hostile tone and condescending conversation. First off if we don't know what the problem is ....how can he diagnose or surmise I would do nothing about the issue? As he indicated!!! BEWARE of this clinic and this mans unprofessional conduct. This kind of medical negligence could lead to malpractice and terminal conditions that might otherwise have been preventable.

I love Dr. Adesina, however the front desks inability to answer the phone at any attempt at trying…read moreto call them, makes it really hard to be able to continue being a patient with the clinic, as Ive had to go 3 days without receiving my refill prescription because again-- they really very seldom pick up the phone. Their organization is not the greatest either, as I was finally able to get through to them yesterday, I was told I would receive my prescription refill today-- and to put it lightly, I'm now on 4 days without my daily prescription that is quite dangerous to stop taking, and as of right now, I have been on the line, listening to their line ring for 14 minutes and 27 seconds, to be exact. I guess I will just deal with the life threatening side effects? To make matters worse, this has been a recurring issue, I try to actively avoid visiting my family doctor because I'm very very limited for time as I seldom get days off in the week, and it's just usually more stressful trying to get through of book an appointment, that I avoid it all together. unfortunately I am likely going to have to look for a new family clinic for my family, despite our love for Dr. Adesina. As I have very complex health problems I needed a family doctor. I was fortunate enough to get to be Dr Botha at Santimed to be my family doctor. I am that person who can write the uncommon side effects warnings on medication. It is a case of that is not supposed to happen and then surprise it happens to me. Dr Botha really goes out of his way to help. Unfortunately he is also part of the Alberta Health system, so even if he wanted to he can't just jump the line with referrals, he has to follow the rules set by Alberta Health. In the more than 20 years I had been living in Calgary, I have learned that the politicians that control Alberta Health haven't got the faintest idea of medicine. They are merely a lot of politicians, who are trying their best to sound important, but only goes on to complicate even the simplest, most cost efficient solution, with so much rules that medicine becomes a very expensive, time consuming circus of expense.

This clinic is so inefficient it's sad. Make an appointment and you wait 1-2hours on a good day. I've been a patient there for a while now. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists are amazing. My family Dr…read more is very humane. She listens to you, she's very through. I am very happy with her. But the clinic has 2 problems. Says it's a Walk In but they do everything in their power not to let you walk in. I don't mind waiting, I inderstand they're busy and I need to wait when I walk in. But sometimes unforeseen health issues can happen over night or the day before and you need a walk in. The second problem is one of the receptionists. Bad attitude, you always feel like you're a nuisance she can't wait to get rid of. Very cold and detached, borderline rude. Once she made me state outloud I had a UTI infront of a patient.. She kept asking me to say it louder .Has zero sensibility. She has nothing to do in the healthcare business. If it wasn't for the receptionist and the lack of walk in access, this clinic would be a 5 star.

One of the nurses in there was extremely insensitive, rude and uneducated. Blond with dark roots in…read moreher hair, lots of makeup, light-skinned, speaks Arabic. She'd refer to me by my deadname that she clearly saw made me extremely uncomfortable, repeatedly, loudly for everyone to hear. And then she went yelling out my deadname, repeatedly, out loud to the doctor, asking him if they can provide services for me. I was then refused services, because my Alberta health card had my deadname on it. And my new legal name is different. I left in an extremely distressed state. Some of the staff could've been a lot more tactful and educated in their behaviour and approach towards me. Even if they had to turn me down, it could be done a lot more differently and not led me to the distressed, dysphoria induced state that they led me to. Technically, Triggering some of my conditions and causing me further harm, as medical personnel...for the conditions that I came to get assessed for, in order to receive my drivers medical examination. 0/10 would not recommend. Steer clear if you are not cis, are suffering from certain conditions, and need to get your driving medical examination done. Stay safe!
