I only have one small niggle with the location, and that's the fact that it's on the outside, so if you park in the upstairs car park (which sadly I had to do last week as there was no room left in the downstairs open air section), you have to make a conscious effort to walk outside (away from the rest of the shops) to get to Home Bargains. Sadly, because it was in completely the opposite direction, I just forgot to call in last time, and wanted to kick myself when I drove past it on my way out of the car park! Anyway, niggles aside, it's a brilliant shop. They have a good selection of toys, always significantly cheaper than anywhere else. They also sell a good range of household products, kitchenware and bedding, also things like washing up liquid and washing conditioner - all at really good prices. They stock a good range of cheap gifts, and always have cheap food - nothing fresh, but they do stock tinned food, biscuits, coffee, crisps, that sort of thing. Often they are a bit closer to their sell by dates than you may get in the major supermarkets, but they are still within the dates and much cheaper, so it's definitely worth a look! Recommended!

All at highly discounted prices to what you'd pay else wear. I often get shampoo and Conditioner in here for the same price I'd pay for one in Boots, exactly the same brands, quantities etc. There is usually only one or two people on the till which can be very annoying as by the tills it is quite cramped. I would deffinatly check if something's in here first before spending a lot more else where though as everything you get in here is a bargain.

This shop, as the name suggests, sells bargains - it really does! I have seen loads of toys there, selling for much less than you can get them elsewhere. They also sell gifts like make up bags and toiletry sets, and household products like cleaning fluids, washing up liquid, etc. They have a nice range of cheap stationery items like sellotape dispensers, and drawing pads, pencils, glitter glues etc. It's a brilliant place to stock up with things to entertain the kids! They also sell household items like bedding, kitchenware, laundry baskets etc. And have a pretty good range of food items like crisps, biscuits, coffee etc. Often these are a little closer to their sell by dates than you may find in the big supermarkets, but nevertheless they are still within the sell by dates, and significantly cheaper! This is a brilliant shop, overall. There is one problem, however - the check outs! There is always a queue, and there's always a problem if something doesn't have a price sticker on it. Any queries have to be referred to a manager, so you're left standing there while they call one over. Other than that, it's a great shop, and worth the inconvenience of the check out queues in order to grab a bargain!

Home Bargains sells toiletries, some food stuff, a small range of drinks, household items, toys, greeting cards and arts and crafts bits and bobs. One tip is that if you see something that is a total bargain then stock up because chances are they will probably sell out quickly and they don't always stock the same things.

Being on Teesside Park, you have lots of free parking, which is always a bonus. Currys sells lots of interesting stuff, televisions, computers, washing machines, cookers, etc. It's a tidy, well laid out and brightly lit store, very pleasant to wander around. The service can be a bit variable, though. I would say on the whole the staff are friendly and helpful. Most times I've been in there, I've managed to find someone who can spare a few minutes to explain the differences in products to me and help me narrow down my choice. Usually they will even give a print out of one or two products so I can go home and think about it. I would definitely recommend a wander round Currys if you are looking for an electrical item. They have a good range of stock and friendly staff.

It's hard to know how to rate this place. It seems to have a poor reputation generally. Personally I've found the service variable. Sometimes I've gone in and found it virtually impossible to actually find a sales assistant, let alone get one to help me. Other times, I've found them incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to give me all the info I might possibly need about an item. Now, I am one of these awkward people who love magazines - but not just ordinary magazines. No, I like the more obscure ones which sadly are simply not stocked by most newsagents, and are not stocked by a number of branches of WH Smith (for example the one in Stockton town centre and the one on Teesside Retail Park). However, this branch in Middlesbrough is brilliant! It has an excellent range of magazines - ok not quite as good as you will find in Borders on Teesside Park, but then Borders is unsurpassed! If you're in Middlesbrough town centre, this is definitely the best place for magazines. The branch is quite large and set out over two floors. They sell everything you would expect from WH Smiths, not just magazines, but also books, games, DVDs and CDs, even sweets! The only real downside with this place is the queues at the check outs. Maybe I've just been unlucky, but there always seems to be a queue, and it never seems to move very quickly!

It's a nice store, I have yet to be dissapointed with it, there are often huge reductions towards sale time! It's good to visit when the local warehouse store or topshop store has ran out of your size! The restaurant food is ok, fair prices but nothing special really. Just the usual soup, sausages, beans thing. It does serve an all day breakfast I think that's promoted throughout the store. The staff here are really helpful and friendly they'll chat with anyone any age about what they're buying or what they're up to and the makeup staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about their aimed product.
