I am very pleased with my services from AutoGlass Discounters…read more Originally I had tried to get an appointment with a different business named Xtreme AutoGlass Pros, but they wanted to just play a bunch of phone tag and not call me back after I left voicemails for them. I am so glad I called AutoGlass Discounters next. I called them, they answered immediately, and then we made an appointment for a day later, fitting with my availability. They gave me a quote on the spot for my Honda Civic's rear quarter panel replacement and checked to see they had it in stock. They let me know they'd meet me at my house. The day of the appointment, they called me to say they could come earlier to my house if I wanted, which was great, though I kept the original time due to my availability. The repairperson Thomas was very prompt, very polite and professional. He easily found the meeting spot I asked him to meet me at. It was a very hot summer day, and we were in the dead of the sun, but Thomas made it go by easy by being so well-natured and making me laugh. He fixed the quarter panel and reassembled everything back together again and vacuumed out the broken glass from the back of my car. The service for my quarter window/rear vent replacement was $245.03. Well worth it. Thank you, Thomas!

After learning from our insurance we'd have to pay a $1,000 deductible, I shopped around. I found Casey at Xtreme Autoglass via Yelp and he quoted me nearly a hundred dollars below Safelite. Needless to say, I booked quickly. Casey walked me through the work he would do and finished quickly and expertly. He even showed me where my glass had been replaced before which was news to me. I'm very pleased with the work they've done and relieved to have saved a good bit of money on the repair. I'd only make a note that the signage in the parking lot isn't the most obvious and I was a little hesitant that I was in the right place but it's well worth the trip and the price!

I called around for a few quotes, but almost all of the local businesses answer "Hello, Safelite." They are taking over. So I made an appointment to go to Safelite's Pittsburgh location (cheaper than having them come to you), and a short while later I got a call back from Star Auto Glass with a quote. They blew Safelite out of the water! They were so much cheaper and they even came to me. My windshield was done the very next day within 20-30 minutes (Safelite told me plan for 90 minutes). The Star Auto Glass man, Hank I believe, even referred me to a local same-day inspection station when I asked. I was in and out of the inspection place in about 15 minutes. The price and the service for Star Auto Glass cannot be beat-- if they service your area, look no further.
