Nurses are pretty good about drawing blood--you hardly feel it when they say "little stick." BUT the front office staff are DUMB. Each and everyone one of them. There have now been too many instances demonstrating their collective incompetence and unprofessional manner. I can't tell you how many times I've watched their facial expressions strain as they try to think their way out of the most ordinary of situations. To use an analogy, it would be like if you went to McDonald's and asked for extra pickle on your burger. Extra pickle? There are pickles on the burgers?? And how would you put extra ones on there??? Bottom line: physicians are ok, front office staff sub-poor, hence the one star. Wish i could give zero stars. I no longer trust my life in the hands of these incompetents.

Receptionist: Do you know what Doctor, she has been seeing. Customer: No, It doesn't matter, which Doctor she sees, her eye hurts. Receptionist: What is her name and Birthdate. Customer: Gave name and Birthdate. Receptionist: Ahhhhh! The computer doesn't tell me who see has been seeing. Customer: It doesn't matter, Her eye hurts. Receptionist: We have contacted the Providers and we can't help her. She needs to go and see the Eye Doctor. Customer: Your her Primary "Family" Doctor and you can't see her. She may have scratched her eye or have and infection in her eye. The Eye Doctor is on Vacation. Receptionist: We don't have the stuff to help her here. Does the eye Doctor have a back up. Customer: Really, I'm going to recommend her get a new Doctor.......... I have never heard of a Doctor, not wanting to see Patients....No wonder Medical Costs are going up....The receptionist are referring the patients, without the doctor seeing them. The WORST service. Staff is extremely rude and unorganized. Dr. Malico operated on my mother. She was in good health prior to her operation. At first glance I…read morewas impressed with Dr. Malico. At each follow up visit she was told she was healing well and making great progress after her hiatal hernia surgery. When she expressed concern, she was told each issue was standard. Last Tuesday I took her for a follow up visit and she mentioned feeling breathless and losing weight. She was told they could do a chest X-ray but this was not performed. My mother had multiple health insurance policies and the means to pay for any procedure that was ordered. Now, a week later my mother is DEAD! Yesterday 10/23/2018 Dr. Malico consented to an autopsy per Wilma because my mother showed nothing that would have indicated she would have died or I would have found her deceased. Reneging on an autopsy after my mother has had no issues that would have resulted in her death. I had to contact the patient advocate today in order to be told the decision was reversed. This is not how I would expect a physician to treat a patient after finding out their patient has passed away.
