Would like to have given 1/2 star, but one is ok since the the kitchen floor/dining looks ok. They must not send employees to customer service training. Not very customer service sounding when addressing a customer as "Man" for every question or statement. "Good morning Man", "Hey Man", man this, man that. At a minimum a first name should be used, or "Mr. Lastname". The couch looked "clean" when he was done, because the whole thing was soaking wet. Next day, after drying, it looked like it was barely touched and does not look clean. I watched him "clean" the couch. He soaked it to sit as he did the floors. This is good...understand why. However when it was time to clean the couch, I could swear it took all of 10 minutes to do. Watching him, he did not take the time to slow down and allow the truck to pull the water out, he rushed the job. I will not use, or recommend this company. Watered down cleaning solution on couches does not work. I could not even smell a cleaning solution, only water when the couch was soaking. read more

Jeremy and Rhett were courteous, respectful and very hard workers. They did a tremendous job on my tile and tried many different sprays and even scrubbed with a brush on stubborn spots. Cleaned my carpet as well and it looks great. They were both a pleasure and we had a lot of fun!! I would highly recommend them to everyone. I think they should get a raise Stanley Steemer!!! BEWARE! Do NOT use this company. They did a poor job and then REFUSE to call back. They claim they've reached out a couple of times, but not once have I received a call. Kaitlin, the manager at Windsor, CO location and someone named Shawn (?) have not tried to make things right and all I can do is talk to people at the call center. Up until today, every one I spoke to at the call center was super helpful and nice. Amy, from Ohio (why she felt the need to tell me where she is from is beyond me) was rude and spoke over me. I have pictures to prove the "job" their sorry tech did was nothing short of absolute sh!t. He was there for 30 minutes and most of that time was moving the hoses around his van. He made one pass in each room (2 bedrooms) and then left. I ended up using my own carpet cleaner and removed the grime that he didn't even try to get up. They (the call center) offered a "redo" and I told them I already did the job, I want a refund. They told me they don't have "money back guarantees". I am so tired of chasing around "managers" who don't care and claim they are calling but aren't getting a hold of me. Believe me, I am WAITING FOR THEIR CALL and answering every stupid spam call just in case it's them. I should've read the reviews before I let these people take my money. I am the fool in the end for not researching this company. Pros: Easy to schedule, clear pricing, showed up on time Cons: Refused to do half the services I booked because our "floors look fine". When we pushed back that they are indeed dirty and need cleaning the technician responded with, they're floors, they're supposed to be dirty. The technician didn't want to move any furniture and was just going to clean around. We stepped in to move it for him and while we did, he dumped over our modular sofa pieces (while still connected) to clean underneath and push it back over. That's not professional service. He took 15 minutes to clean the carpet and wouldn't clean the wood floors. We spent time the day before moving and clearing the spaces to be cleaned and had to end up doing the cleaning ourselves. The cleaning of our duct system was set up through XTRACT Environmental Services after they did some asbestos abatement of our home. XTRACT Environmental Services scheduled our duct cleaning with Stanley Steemer. Personnel contacted us with a window of time they would be showing up prior to them coming out. They arrived promptly introduced themselves, assessed our home so they could proceed in an efficient manner and were quickly underway. The service men, Steven Palmer and Joseph Farrell, were professional, friendly, respectful, accommodating and worked masterfully to get in and out as quickly as they could while providing quality work. They took pictures of our duct work to document the before and after and debriefed us after the work was complete. They also provided us some valuable pro tips on maintaining our duct system and alerted us to things that could necessitate more frequent cleanings. We will, undoubtedly use Stanley Steemer for any future duct work cleaning and we would and will recommend them to family, friends and anyone we know who is in the market for their services. Buyer Beware! I had a contract with Stanley Steemer - *in writing* - that allowed me to extend the duration of the contract because of some remodeling plans. When I went to schedule a service that was provided under the contact, Sam, the local manager in Windsor, Colorado, finally agreed to schedule a cleaning, but then notified me that, on behalf of Stanley Steemer, they would never provide services. I decided not to schedule a service, because I really don't trust them to back up their contractual obligations but more importantly if the leadership can't be trusted, how can I trust the quality of their services? read more

Scheduled our service. Had several pieces of furniture to be cleaned. They sent me a itemized list of furniture to be cleaned along with the total. When they were doing the cleaning my wife was told that the loveseat was not included. It was included in the list of items to be cleaned. I called them and said they over charged me and was told it was an estimate. Did not want to hear what I had to say. Our furniture did not come clean. I used them in the past but never again. Try to contact the Windsor branch but phone calls do not go locally. Will never use them again! When I called the the person I talked to was very rude. Did not show up in their 4 hour time window. I confirmed with the company that the price includes moving and cleaning under furniture that can be moved. They did not move and clean under my furniture. They also did not cover their shoes when cleaning. I have dirty shoe prints all over my bathroom floor from them walking on the wet carpet then to the tile floor. I used stanley steemer to clean a clients floor. I was double charged for the service and were not able to reach a resolution with either corporate or the local office. I ended having to submit the charges to the credit card fraud department... In my occupation I use duct and tile cleaning services multiple times per month. I will never use stanley again in any capacity, nor do I recommend them to you. read more

They did not follow the order placed and did not seek approval for additional work before performing it and charging my credit card. I called the next day and received no response for 4 days. I called again and did not get a return call. I called a third time and finally spoke to the service manager. He had his "take" on their processes/procedures and didn't even attempt to meet me, the payor, half way. I would not recommend the Fort Collins/Northern CO Stanley Steemer. read more

Two bad carpet cleaning service jobs in a row. The first time they did not do a good job w/ the cleaning, so they came back and then it looked awesome. Today the same "supervisor/tech" came w/ another tech and they soaked the carpet. it was like a sponge. I could get water into my hand in some places. This is so bad for your carpet and pad so I called the Windsor office and talked to manager Matt. Such poor customer service skills, unbelievable! I just got angrier the more I tried to talk to him. He had the 2 techs come back and I just sent them away. I told them how rude their boss was and I wanted no more to do w/ Stanley Steemer. And funny as I think about it that is probably what Matt wanted as I have a contract w/ Stanley Steemer for 2 more cleanings-which will never be used now. Please consider calling another cleaner if you are in the Niwot/Longmont area. read more

Very poor customer service. They gave me a 4 hour window when they would arrive for air duct cleaning. Considering it was a $1,000 job for all the work, you would imagine they would show up. Well, they didn't. I called their office and no one picked up the phone. I left a message to cancel the job. I had to take half a day off work to wait for them. Not wasting any more time on this company. I did call the main scheduling line to complain. They told me a manager would contact in 24 hours. Again, no call within 24 hours. Someone did call me and left a message over a week later. I called the number he left and no surprise, no one picked up. read more

Just had my carpets cleaned by Stanley Steemer and I couldn't be more pleased. Ryan showed up on the early side of the appointment window and was done in less than an hour. My carpets look great and he even got out stains I thought were permanent. I'll definitely be using them again. read more

Not at all worth the money paid. They were there for 15 minutes and our carpets did not look any different than before they came. Our carpets were brand new before we moved in, and they claimed the carpets were "too old" to clean effectively. Will never use this service again. read more

If there was a no stars option I think I would have picked it. All I have to say is they gave me a four hour window and not only did they not show up within that four hour window, but I called them twice and they were still unable to give me an ETA. The number of times they called me was zero. 20 minutes after the end of that 4 hour window and I am still waiting. They called at 6:20 to say that they will likely not be here until close to 7 pm. The guy apologized but said they have no control over this type of thing. I am unable to get ahold of their office in Fort Collins, but rest assured I will never use this company again! read more

It took them longer to get me a final quote, than it took them to actually clean my carpet. I left my bed and couch in the rooms as I believed they moved furniture. I was told by the crew that showed up that they didn't move any furniture but sometimes couches, and even that was just pushing it around on the floor and cleaning around it. I had to move my bed out of the room. Even after the up-sell of deodorizer to help get rid of the dog pee smell, my carpet still smells like dog pee; although, it is dog pee with a hint of deodorizer. I would not recommend them, and I really regret not reading reviews prior to scheduling. read more
