We had three carpets cleaned a few weeks ago and most of the stains were removed but unfortunately one item was also removed from my unlocked closet. I did not notice the item misssing because it is a rarely used item until I went to look for it The guys cleaning the carpets were the only persons to ever enter the bedroom closet. I can't proove they stole the item but nobody but them has ever been in that room. Before or since. Needless to say I will never use this service again. read more

Sorry for the delayed response but i got cleaning on Wednesday 12/27 and the cleaners parked near (not in my garage) causing carbon monoxide to fill my house. It was so bad that when the fire department came they had to call the hazard department. We were not allowed in our home for two hours. It began to rain and we had to allow 11 fire and hazard team members into our home with their shoes on (our newly cleaned carpet). I think this is negligence on behalf of the workers and i should be offered something off of my next cleaning. I used the Fayetteville NC branch - to steam clean the carpets and linoleum. I was scheduled to move out the night after they arrived. I visited the residence after work to pick up the few cleaning items I had left behind - so I could return the keys to the landlord. * I walked into the house and the carpet appeared like it had only been vacuumed, not steam cleaned! * All the stains were still present - same as before. * The kitchen linoleum was torn. * Black sooty handprints were left all around the doors. * They dumped the chemicals in the tub and toilet & left the waxy hardened dirty residue. * They used some of the cleaning supplies I left under the kitchen sink and left them scattered on the countertop. * They did not pull up the oil stain (as promised) on the garage floor. * They jammed the garage door sensors somehow so the garage door would not close. I had to manually shut it by pulling it down. * They left the front door unlocked after I specifically asked them to lock behind - when they left. * I had to clean their leftover mess - for an additional 4 hours. I hired them because I wanted the cleanup to look professional. I wanted to avoid renting a rug doctor and doing the work myself. I should have rented the rug doctor instead & saved hundreds of dollars. Plus, I would have known the job would have be correct!!!! read more

Will NOT be using them again I've used them in the past several times . Racially overtones by the receptionist. She was not friendly at all towards me , (both times) but a nother customer came in ,of a different race...oOooh what a joyful greeting. The first time I went, I stood about 13mintues before she even acknowledged me. even when I spoke to her.The second time same vibe ,and didn't speak back AGAIN. We are very happy customers... Eric and Tj came over and steamed cleaned our dirty stained living room carpet. I would love to say that these professionals did what was instructed to do. Despite the poor reviews I thought I would give them a chance.  I started with getting the carpets cleaned and did an online quote and scheduled a time.  The tech showed up on time, but charged me more than the quoted price and said one of the rooms was to be considered 2 rooms due to the size.  They did a good job so I didn't mind paying for an "extra" room.   Fast forward to today when I had them return to clean the hardwood floors.  Once again, I did an online quote and scheduled the appointment.  Same tech showed up that did the carpets, but this time wanted to charge me an additional $300 for the job.  He said the online quote of $323 did not include moving furniture around, even though the website clearly says that they do.  When they called to confirm the appointment there was no mention of any "prep" work that we needed to do ahead of time other than secure breakable items such as lamps and vases.  If I had know that ahead of time I would have moved the furniture myself.   It was explained to us that the prices online are for Corporate and that a franchise can set their own price.  Needless to say we sent them away and will use a locally owned business that is more transparent with their pricing.   Word to the wise...if multiple reviewers state that the actual price is much higher than the quoted price I will believe them. read more

Used the Stanley steemer location out of Fayetteville, NC. Two cleaners were very nice however, they never offered to move any furniture as stated in the ad. Carpet was in bad shape and they came again at no charge. Stains still showed once carpet dried. Hoping for a much better read more

They damaged my carpet with the "carpet protectors" they put under my furniture after cleaning. Class A cleaning service is better at the job than this particular Stanley steamers of Fayetteville. Poor customer service as well. read more

Talk about absentee businesses. I have called on two different occasions to get services from them. Not only didn't anyone answer the one call during the regular business hours, but they never returned "any" of the calls I left on the answering machine. No website, Facebook page or even a Free manta site. The services performed by their carpet techs are usually great, but that doesn't help if you can't get a appointment to come out. So I rent a Rug Doctor and we bought a small Bissell for pet accidents. That's why businesses fail....thinking small. read more
