We walked around talking about different way to figure out what was causing the smell and he "I'm going to just walk around and check things out" within 1 minute he yelled out "found it". Under the sink in the bathroom and vent check valve was missing. The contractor plumber never installed it when the house was built 2 years ago. He said he could fix it right now and gave a very reasonable price. I said go ahead and within 30 minutes he had fixed a problem I had been dealing with for the last two years. He was very knowledgeable and even found a pipe that was not glued when he was installing the valve and fixed that as well I would highly recommend this business for their expertise and value for what they do. I added them in my phone as the first business to call for my plumbing needs.

Their Project Manager, Alex, and his team visited twice to assess. On May 29, I received a quote from Tom (Operations Manager/Estimator), but it only covered demolition -- not restoration. I immediately followed up, and Tom replied the same day, saying "This is the estimate for demo only. I will get you a revised estimate to include the reconstruction portion as well." Despite multiple follow-ups (June 5, 10, and 17) and a call to Alex on June 14, I never received the updated quote. Today I escalated to Paul Davis Corporate, who got the owner of this Paul Davis franchise on the phone. He brought Tom onto a follow-up call, but Tom said nothing the entire time. Only at that point the owner says there's a $250 deposit required to even receive a reconstruction quote -- something never mentioned before -- and seems made up on the spot, given we already received a quote for demo (w/o a deposit). Their strange deposit policy was never communicated to us during prior site visits, prior emails, or calls with Alex. After a month of delays and no complete estimate, I decided to move on to another contractor. If they can't even manage their business professionally and competently, how can I count on them to work on my house. They tried to charge me for services not rendered. They never returned thousands of dollars worth of property. The manager told me via telephone that he would make it right, after I discovered how much was missing. I formed a list and values of our belongings that were not returned and he did not honor his word, but instead accused me of lying, questioning each item on my list. Directives were not followed as they cleaned items they were told to leave. In some of the items they did clean, they caused fading. They also washed expensive clothing items that were dry clean only. They removed totes from storage that were immaculately packed, returning them jumbled with items from all areas of our 4000 sq. ft. home. Over 90 percent of the boxes they packed were not marked by room, nor were they even marked upstairs or downstairs. Some of those moving boxes had one item. I assume to get their box count. Another specific example of them getting their count for the insurance was a dust rag that had been cleaned and hung on a close hanger under plastic. Many of the items that were returned were broken. My husband and I are seniors and we hired this company in good faith. The work they did as "first responders" was criminal. I did not pursue financial restitution, because of the response I received from the manager. I just couldn't handle more stress. I would never hire them for anything ever again. I advise everyone to run as fast as you can to avoid doing any business with whatsoever.
