I will be more than happy to do the honors. Inside this corner market houses a butcher shop that caters more to the Asian diet specializing in pork and pig parts galore. Pork blood anyone? If you're looking for a beef product turn around and exit where you entered because you won't find beef anywhere inside the shop. That said it can get quite busy inside as this is only one of two Asian butcher shops in the neighborhood, a community with constant growth among the Asian population. There is also fresh poultry inside although I'm assuming the chickens are processed at another location and only delivered here for sale. They have an assortment of fresh fish both laying on ice or still swimming in several fish tanks. There are several open air freezer units where you can find assorted frozen fish or poultry products vacuum sealed in thick plastic. I only browsed at some of these and most seem to originate from Asian countries. When I do shop here it's generally for their fresh fruit and not for their vegetables or dried goods. They carry a large assortment of bottled and jarred Asian sauces and condiments, but their prices seem to be slightly higher than stores where I frequent. They also carry a limited selection of refrigerated items such as fresh tofu, noodles, wonton wrappers and things of that nature. I'm very picky when it comes to picking up fresh vegetables and especially when I buy leafy greens I prefer a higher leaf to stem ratio. Many Asian markets trim their greens before they go out on the shelves so when you purchase it and bring it home to prepare there is actually less waste to go in the compost bin and more vegetable to go on the plate. That doesn't seem to be the case here. Often it looks like leafy vegetables go straight from the box and onto the shelves which isn't necessarily a bad thing just not my preference. Fresh fruits are usually piled high on open carts outside the store, and I have found some great buys (cheap) on things like limes, mangoes, oranges and various melons in the past. Because the area has high foot traffic and sits at a busy bus stop the turnaround for fresh fruit to be put out is pretty good. I often wait for one of the workers to replenish the carts with fresh fruits before I jump in to pick out my fruits before other shoppers.

The prices overall are a bit costly yet if you live in the neighborhood might be more convenient to pick up some items. Pro tip: keep your eye out for specials.
