After so many years shared in this wonderful school, I leave with a heart full of gratitude, memories, and lessons that I will cherish forever. Thank you to the owner of the institution, Miss Amina, for the trust, respect, and opportunity to be part of this important project. Thank you also to each of my colleagues for their support, camaraderie, and the moments we shared every day. In a very special way, I want to express my gratitude for having allowed me to care for and guide the children. Every smile, every hug, and every small achievement of theirs was a great motivation for me. Working with young children is a blessing, and I will carry with me the love and joy they gave me every day. I retire with the peace of mind of having given my best, with responsibility, affection, and dedication, and with the satisfaction of having contributed, even in a small way, to the education and well-being of these little ones. I wish you all much success, health, and blessings. May this school continue to grow and educate many children with love and values. Thank you Miss Amanda, Miss Kristie, Miss Jessica, Miss Erica, Miss Elizabeth and Miss Riley... all the wonderful teachers I have worked with over the years and fantastic families who have grown in my heart. With affection and gratitude, Miss Naty

Now our second child is thriving there as well, after his older brother has moved on to elementary school. From very early on, both kids were happy, sociable, and came home with all sorts of knowledge and skills they'd learned there--the actual learning is really impressive. This was our 3rd daycare in the area, after the first one shut down and the second one wasn't a good fit for this particular kid. We were frankly kind of desperate, and totally turned off by the corporate cartoon theme which, on the surface, was not at all the vibe we'd been looking for. But wow, did we learn our lesson. Daycare centers are run by real people, after all, and these people are wonderful. The building is safe, clean, bright, and full of resources while absolutely spacious and uncluttered. It's comforting, stimulating, and the walls are covered in a constantly changing array of children's projects at all levels. This is not a place where you park your kid and they babysit them--it's a genuine school, with the parent-facing part of it as easy as if it were "just a daycare." I would recommend this place to everyone I know--if they didn't already send their kids there! So many families that we know from TLE are also involved in other parts of our family's life now, and many that we met elsewhere have discovered TLE Montgomery on their own. In a way, it's a major nerve center of our sense of community in Montgomery at this early stage in our children's lives.

My older daughter attended Children's Academy for two years before starting Kindergarten, and still…read moretalks about how much she misses her preschool. She's already learned in preschool many of the concepts she's now seeing in Kindergarten, which speaks to how well the school prepares students. She even learned to read during her last year there, and it's been incredible to see her reading progress with the strong foundation the school gave her. The Children's Academy is one of the few true Montessori schools we found in the area. The classrooms are set up with stations like Practical Life, Math, and Language, and the children have the autonomy to choose their activities throughout the day. At the same time, they learn structure and social skills, like taking turns, sitting on "The Line," and resolving conflicts using the "peace rose." The teachers are what makes the school truly exceptional. Many have been at the school for decades. They are deeply attentive and caring, and I'm constantly amazed by how well they know each child, even down to details like their favorite stuffed animal. All the teachers are Montessori-trained and continue to stay up to date with best practices. There's also a strong sense of community. The school has been around for a long time, and there are parents who were students themselves whose children now attend the school. There is a Parent Association that organizes fundraisers, field trips, and events, which adds to the close-knit feel. Another huge factor for us was the flexibility they offer. There are before and after care options, as well as coverage during school holidays, which are important to us as two working parents. We couldn't find any other Montessori school in the area offering this. We love the school so much that our two younger kids now go there. If you're considering Children's Academy, I highly recommend attending one of their open houses. They host open houses once per month on the weekend - the fact that the teachers take time from their weekend to do these open houses also speaks volumes! We are so grateful to have such a wonderful school near us, and recommend it frequently to families looking for a preschool.
