Sales team was good, but they sold me a truck maintenance issues. They had the truck in the shop for about 1 month out of the 4 months I owned it. A warning light kept coming on, and they kept returning the truck to me saying there's no issues. I had a blow out in under 1000 miles and had to replace all 4 rear tires, and then to top of all that, the caliper had a catastrophic failure and I almost wrecked before my first oil change. For a little more context, this was a dually they charged $48000 for. I never hauled anything with it, I drove it less than 2000 miles, it wasn't even due for its first oil change. And it was all light driving. I told the sales manager about the issues and he had the audacity to say that I was probably breaking too hard because the inspection was done correctly. He told me repeatedly to consult my warranty even though I told him it was clearly a maintenance issue. They had fired a Mechanic during this period for stealing and failing to do his job correctly. And he still wiped his hands clean and said they already "bent over backwards for me" because they picked up and dropped off the truck twice completely ignoring the fact they never fixed any issues. Like it's my fault their maintenance department is worthless. But the worthless manager in used cars sales explains a lot. Take your money to Lubbock. More honest, better service, better prices. I'm not even that mad over the $3000 I spent fixing stuff that shouldn't have needed fixing that soon. I'm pissed their gross negligence put a truck on the road in such bad shape it had the potential to kill me or someone else and failed to take any responsibility. Absolutely terrible. ***ZERO STARS*** I contacted this dealership through CarGurus.com. I received an email from Hunter Emfinger at 4:44pm on June 30th saying they had the vehicle I was interested in "available and on sale." Hunter Emfinger with Stanley Ford Andrews followed up immediately at 4:45pm. Hunter Emfinger confirmed with me that they still had the vehicle for sale and set up an appointment with me for 3:00pm on July 1st. I told him I had to drive 94 miles and that's why I was confirming the vehicle's availability. He said yes, and he would see me at 3:00pm on Saturday. I have looked online at hundreds of vehicles over the last few months. I would NOT have driven to Andrews TX from Lubbock TX had I not had a VERY strong interest in this vehicle. We have many more vehicles to choose from in Lubbock. This vehicle happened to be exactly what I was looking for. Me, my son and my 3-year old granddaughter loaded up in the car at 12:30 and headed to Andrews. We stopped for lunch and arrived about five minutes early for my appointment. I walked into Stanley Ford Andrews and told them that I was there for my 3:00pm appointment with Hunter Emfinger. They all looked very puzzled and a girl that works there went to get someone. A man came out (did not give me his name) and said Hunter had left early, was there something he could help me with. I told him about the vehicle I was there to see. He looked confused and told me they sold that vehicle and delivered it to another customer at 7:00pm the previous evening. Okay, it doesn't take rocket science to realize that if they delivered this car at 7:00pm, they already had someone making a deal for this car at 4:45pm the same day. I made it very clear I was not happy about this situation and told them that this is not the way to conduct business. It's not even about them selling the car to someone else. It's that Hunter Emfinger couldn't make time for a 10-second phone call to let me know that he made a mistake and the vehicle was sold. When you are in the customer service business, you better know customer service. This place definitely does not. They stammered and stuttered and brought the manager, Jesus, over and he said....Um. Um. Um. We can....we can...we can.... I said "You can't do anything," and walked out and drove all the way back to Lubbock. I don't care if they have good prices. Their selling practices are sub-par. I wouldn't give them a dime of my money now. I would rather pay a little more somewhere else. I'd buy from Reagor Dykes here before I'd buy from these people. And, that's not saying much. Just one more example of "typical" car salesman mentality...short on integrity and long on lies. I researched and researched for months to make sure it was the car I want because I can't stand dealing with car dealerships/salesmen. I always want to give the benefit of the doubt, and once again, I was not disappointed {sarcasm}. A simple, quick phone call would have avoided this ZERO STAR review. I could have been relaxing by the pool all afternoon instead of traveling four hours on the road FOR NOTHING. To top things off, I tried to leave a review on CarGurus.com for this dealership. It said I had already left a review for this dealership. Ummm, no. So, I'll leave this review on every social media platform I can find instead. I'm giving this dealership 4 stars due to overall experience. I had found the vehicle I wanted online. I took a trip from Odessa to Andrews in order to strike a deal. When I first arrived around 2pm they were short on salesmen and unable to locate keys for the truck I wanted. 1 car salesman ended up helping me while he was finishing up with another buyer. I was beginning to have second thought on vehicle due to things not falling into place but then with the great handling of the staff at Stanley Ford of Andrews they cleaned the vehicle I wanted and gave me a great offer for my trade as well as a great deal on the vehicle I ended up purchasing. Everyone was friendly while they lied straight to our faces. They said their finance would run as a soft inquiry and we only gave permission to run our credit with 2 separate hard inquiry finance companies. So far 7 different companies including Stanley Ford, have shown up as hard inquiries on our credit. Repeatedly we stressed this was a very important issue with us and not only did the sales person lie straight to our faces, so did the sales manager. If you care about your credit rating do not let any dealership "run" your credit, go in with your own financing and leave without a purchase if the terms change once you're there. read more

INCOMPETENT. Salesman was your typical used car salesman "I need to sell you this car so I can eat" type. Tried not to let that get to me. When we were filling out our loan application, salesman had to reprint app off 3 times because he couldn't type my name correctly. After the third time he crossed it out with a pen and said "it goes off your social anyway". Should've been my first red flag. Then we go to sign paperwork after loan is approved and the paperwork has my name spelled incorrectly in several spots. Husbands was correct (same last name). I was told that it "didn't really matter" again because it went by my social security number. Get my first payment and notice the bank has my name spelled wrong as a result of that paperwork. I then wait nearly 60 days, before finally calling to see where my title is. The girl that called me back said she didn't know what the previous girl was doing but finally put it in the mail and sent me another temp tag as mine was expiring. Then the title gets to the DMV and isn't filled out correctly. I will give them credit here, because I am out of state so they didn't except the normal transfer form they used. But when I then got the title back again and went to tag it, the DMV refused because on both the title reassignment and the bill of sale they crossed out the year of the vehicle (2017) and wrote "2016" over it. All my paperwork and the title show 2017, so I still have yet to figure out why they crossed it out. I have missed countless hours of work and wasted several hours and trips to the DMV because of their incompetence. read more
